Really, is it so difficult to ask for Myka to be around as a played character and not an NPC? I am having a crisis, and while Claudia and Ruby are wonderful, I am desperately in need of Myka.

I know you have a colored history with Myka players, and that you loved the last one, but beggers cannot be choosers. I understand when you played me at a previous game the Myka was less than desirable, and I certainly hope for one far better than that.

In all honesty, I do need Myka right now. Having Christina back is more than I could have ever dreamed of, but there's this aspect where I still have unexpressed grief. Not to mention all of the other issues I have regarding this topic.

Not least of which is, how do I tell my daughter I tried to destroy the world in my anger and grief?

You tell her just like that, I'd say. She's a smart kid. And she is technically dead, ish. I think she'll be able to handle it.

I know she is intelligent, but it does not make it any easier to tell her everything I've done.

Tell your daughter you did it out of love. To make those suffer who took her from you as any good parent should.

While love has the capability to create monsters, I was not forged by love in this instance, but instead by hate and anger. She would see through such words.

Hate and anger made you strong though, did it not? Gave you the power you lacked to protect her. If one can not protect their loved ones, they at least should be able to become powerful enough to gain revenge.

Hate and anger made me burn for vengeance, one I thoroughly exacted upon my daughter's murderers. Though my vengeance continued to burn long past that satisfaction.

The problem is in revealing the monster I had become I fear my daughter will be afraid of me. Or worse, hate me.

The monster you have become can protect your child better now then before.

Then again, I am the son of a monster and a monster myself. So I may be biased.

I certainly know how far I would go when those I love are threatened. I do not wish to be the monster I was for I destroyed everything I touched, and I want to preserve what I have, not lose it all again.

Prehaps, you should take a hint from my own father, who of course you likely do not know but, allow me to explain.

Your children, or child, whatever, does not need to know the horrors you did in detail, just that you did terrible things but to protect avenge her and to make sure no one else felt that pain. She need no more details. And it usually helps that with your new found power you can keep it from happening again.
