The scene: a mysterious train with no set destination, departing from an unknown location with hidden compartments and a motely assortment of passengers.
It's no Star Wars. But I think there's something to be said for the overwhelming ambiguity. It's almost like a movie inside a movie inside John Malkovich's head. Now- get the train to start at the destination and reel back to various important plot points, incorporating multiple perspectives and an unreliable narration- and I think we might have something here.
Cool. Cool cool cool.
Now all I need is a curly ended mustache. See if you can work on that.
