[Hearing that another version of you is dead... the Victor which the Nora he is with now is no more... It is certainly an unsettling experience, even for someone as lacking emotion as Victor. He doesn't say anything at first, merely pulls her closer to comfort her the only way he knows how. When he speaks it is quiet but there is some definite feeling behind it.]

[Victor does not intend to die any time soon, after his devotion to keeping Nora alive is his determination to retain his own via the many upgrades he makes to his armours and weaponry. And whilst he wouldn't want either Nora to be alone, he wouldn't allow anyone to harm them.

At her distress he bends down and in one fluid motion takes her into his arms.]

I would never abandon you, Nora. I would like you to take comfort in the fact that your own Victor, were I he, no doubt did what he did to protect and save you. And he would wish that you live your live comfortably, whether that happens to be with me or otherwise.

[In the labs Victor might have allowed himself to be unarmoured and allow her to touch him, but ouside it he can't take the risk, so many variables and dangers to consider. More than anything he wants to see her comforted and protected, as he has always done, for all his lack of emotion.]

I... I cannot predict the future, my dear, but I know that now, in this moment, I will be there for you. What happened to your Victor has been tragic, and I would not wish you to forget him, but I am certain he would not wish for you to grieve indefinitely.

Certainly he does not wish to let Nora have to go because of his own wife's return, but he does not know how she herself will react to there being a second version of her in his life presently, much less what has transpired to him since her accident. He ensures she is upright and settled before offering his hand to her.]

[Victor can't totally forget Boyle and what he did - holding grudges, however right they might be, is one of his greatest flaws, and it's a worrying fact that when he does show more extreme emotion, it is more often than not anger at those who wronged him. The company of his wife though is a comforting one.]
