I am not certain about going somewhere in one of these games of yours. Why must you pick me out of Inaba and send me somewhere else without any way of getting back? There are many cases that I can take on back home, and with my confidence restored, I am more than capable of taking care of myself without 'being jolted into it' as you say.

If you must do this, you must actually finish watching what you started. I understand that you have read things, but that is not the same.

Perhaps I might be alright in one of these places, but as of now, the evidence does not support that theory.

Huh, so your mun's cheapin' out on your canon review too, huh? That sucks. They bring us all the way out here to... whatever the hell this is, and then they don't even bother going through with stuff that's important.

I will admit that Mun-san seems to know me quite well, however, there are, as always, details which need to be understood.

How is your mun doing with you?

Well, ah... s'not like we're doing much over here. At least, not right now. Managed to finally get our hands on a game, but Mun keeps puttin' off actually playing the damn thing.

Ah. Mun-san is intending to aquire a game within the next two weeks, and if I know her like I do, she will put in the hours to play it fairly quickly. She has an idea about somewhere to send me, however, I do not know if she will follow through. She tends to have grand ideas and very little follow-through.

Did I say something wrong, Kanji? Details are important if you are intending to have such an intense relationship as that of a mun and a character.

Uh-- if she's got a Vita, Golden's on sale this week. Apparently. S-so... where's she thinkin' of sending you?

She does not have a Vita, but the largest problem for her at the moment, it would seem, is a lack of time due to her perception of being quite busy at her job, which, I must note, she is slacking on currently while I am talking to you.

The place she is considering sending me is a small town in South Dakota of America, of all places. I believe it is connected to a television program called Warehouse 13. Some of the oddities in that place seem quite fascinating, however, I do not wish to leave Inaba at this time.

I am not worried, Kanji, simply concerned.

But America, huh? Helluva long way from home, ain't it? Though I guess there's people going to space and junk otherwise, so what do I know...

It is quite a long way from home, and to be frank, I am not confident enough in my grades in English to even know if I would be able to communicate there. It is an intriguing idea, however, in its excecution, it certainly has its problems.

Y-- Yeah. You'd have a better chance with it than I would, at least. I mean, people don't even like talkin' to me in our own language. And small towns in America are still probably crazy different from small towns in Japan... I mean, it'd be cool for a trip or whatever. Maybe get to see some of those 'oddities' ya mentioned. Think it's anything like what we went through back in Inaba?

Kanji, you underestimate yourself. More people wish to talk to you than you believe. I certainly do not avoid you, as you seem to believe.

I would absolutely enjoy a trip to this place, and the chance to examine some of these things. From what I can glean from others in this headspace, there are objects with strange properties. In themselves, it's nothing like our Personas, however, they are... odd.

[Blink. Blinkblink. There's that blush again, along with something that's... between a grin and a grimace. It's hard to tell.]

[But of a stunned pause as he mulls that over-- oh, yeah, conversation. Happening now. Odd things, right!]

Sooo, uh... are we talkin' regular old-maybe-supernatural-junk odd or possibly-dangerous odd?

You have many more skills than you are giving yourself credit for. I do not waste my time with people.

[There's that small, private smile again, especially at his blush.]

Definitely possibly dangerous. These things affect people's minds and actions. It is fascinating in the world of jurisprudence, whether one is answerable to one's actions when one is under the influence of one of these things.

You are exactly right. If someone is under the influence of something they did not choose, are they truly liable for what they do. It would be fascinating to examine.

True enough, but you gotta be careful not to get caught up in it yourself. ...Unless that's what you're aiming to do, but I don't really see that goin' too well.

I only wish to observe what is going on, not become a part of it. It would not go well were I to get caught up in it as well. Certain things would become quite awkward very quickly.

I figured, but... if it's anything like the crap they put on TV, even the good guys get mixed up in stuff without meaning to. I mean you're-- not saying you would, but, uh... ghh. [Crossing his arms over his chest, huffing a little. He's worried, okay.]

Kanji, I would be fine. These things are reversible. You do not have to worry. Mun-san would not let permanent harm come to me anyway.

I appreciate your concern, Kanji, but I am aware of how to take care of myself. I did fight Shadows with you if you recall.
