[It's that kind of behaviour which manages to irritate Jinbei more - he thought that Arlong might have learned some humility by now, but that's clearly not the case.]

I am surprised to see that you don't have any of your own, given your attitude. [He's not too concerned with his own scar, even if it might be seen as a sign of weakness - it's all in the past, now. Besides, I don't think Oda ever explained where he got it from]

Yes, I heard about Cocoyashi. It's a shame - if you weren't such a coward, I would have put a stop to your madness a long time ago. [He's still kicking himself over that - he really should have kept a closer eye on Arlong, rather than assuming that his threats wouldn't amount to anything.]

Big Brother Tai wouldn't consider that "the right attitude," and neither do I.

You watch your mouth, Jinbei. [and that is an empty threat because he has no problems about fighting Jinbei but winning on the other hand-- (and if he did win that would mean Jinbei would be dead, which was also unacceptable]

[He sighs - for Fisher Tiger's sake, he'd like to avoid picking a fight with Arlong, but it's difficult not to. He'll drop the topic for now - there were too many bitter feelings surrounding it, and there was nothing he could do to change it anyways.]

Perhaps you would change your mind if you saw what sort of people your ideals created. At least then, those fools would be good for something. [He may not like Arlong's methods or goals, or even his personality, but at least Arlong respects other fishmen, which was more than he could say for Hodi's crew.]
