New muse wants attention

"Mun." Is this what I am supposed to call you? It seems like a meaningless distinction. I would prefer to use your name.

Either way, I question the word you have chosen to designate me on this network. While I cannot argue that it is appropriate, I am sure there is a way you could have communicated the concept without resorting to made up words. "Unbinding" is a verb. I see no sense in making it plural.

Also, I am confused by your assertion that I "will not get out of your head." You seem perfectly content for me to be here.

[LMAO, everything here is in her interest.]

What if she doesn't want to give you her real name? Maybe if she does, you'll go after her family and murder them!

[SHE'S SERIOUS.]
morphic: (Hmmm?)

[personal profile] morphic 2012-03-12 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
If you have access to it, then why doesn't see allow you to call her by her name? Though, my mun prefers to be called by her 'code name'... apparently it's an 'internet handle'.
morphic: (Tee hee!)

Privacy is always the best option. But can't someone figure out who someone else is by another kind of identifier? I know technology is really advanced now, so it'd be rather easy!
morphic: (Yay!)

[personal profile] morphic 2012-03-12 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. But there's nothing we'd gain from accessing that kind of information. I don't think my mun's credit card number would do me any good, and I wouldn't want to hurt her, either!

[Why do you know that, Akane?]
morphic: (Eeeeh?)

[personal profile] morphic 2012-03-14 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Does it? But what could someone do with her name? [LE GASP...!] You don't think someone would try to gain control of her if they knew her name? I've read in stories that knowing someone's real name can give that person complete control of the person who's name they know!

OH SNAP EDI

"Mun" apparently common term. Personally find "player" more than adequate, sufficiently descriptive. Mun agrees, though doesn't particularly care.

Same, player aware of meaning now, though not until after some awkward conversations.
neuterskrogan: (thoroughly unimpressed)

Found network designation crude, and inaccurate. A mockery.

Didn't stop mun, however. Bad listener, found it humorous.

"Spaying" would suggest surgical procedure. Still inaccurate, but indeed more fitting. Certainly in poor taste either way.

Can't really complain. Aside from offensive network designation and "canon update" slated for near future, player has been mostly agreeable.

Giant thresher maw, cured genophage on Tuchanka.

Big explosion. Unpleasant to dwell on, but good outcome.

According to mun, alternative is unpleasant. Curious, but won't pry.
neuterskrogan: (SO MUCH PONDERING)

Yes, mun almost finished with first play through. May also take different path next time.
shitshitshit: (whatever you say)

At least you're not stuck with this. I mean, c'mon, you'd think people who spend their free time writing would be able to think up some better names.
shitshitshit: (not too bad)

[personal profile] shitshitshit 2012-03-12 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Y'know, EDI, I'm really not sure how I'm supposed to take that one. It doesn't seem too, uh... compliment-like. [But he may or may not be smiling, too.]
shitshitshit: (grin)

[personal profile] shitshitshit 2012-03-13 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
Right, right, sure.
reigninginstars: (A glimpse of a smile.)

[Oh, EDI. What are you doing this time.]

Nice to see you here as well, EDI.
reigninginstars: (Things just got a lot more awkward.)

[personal profile] reigninginstars 2012-03-13 07:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh...

[Another one, eh?]

Not the first time someone has said that. I'm surprised you recognized me right away.
reigninginstars: (Hah)

[personal profile] reigninginstars 2012-03-13 08:04 am (UTC)(link)
Fair enough.

How have things been for you, EDI?
