An interesting piece of human fashion. A simple piece of cloth tied around the neck to make oneself look more dignified. [Tyrant Valvatorez does spend an inordinate amount of time in the human world.]
[Yes, actually it does. It's +9000 to AWESOME. And Laharl is 4000 himself, but still likes his armor and Imperial Seals. ...That he keeps in his pockets.]
Humans have their own illusions of vampires; that they only drink the blood of virgins and dress like nobles and other silly things. In order to terrify them most effectively, sometimes it helps to play off these stereotypes. Somewhere along the way I grew rather fond of the look.
[Val's got his own equipment slots filled, the cravat's just extra. His absurd aptitudes more than make up for any other necessary bonuses.]
That's what humans think vampires do these days. They think of 'em as tragic romantic interests these days, that stalk high school girls and have dysfunctional relationships and stuff.
What? What are you doing in your world? How have young demons become so lax in their duties to allow that kind of misconception? Humans should quake at the mere mention of demons, not use them for their... girlish fantasies! Is no one in your Netherworld doing their job?
Don't look at me or the Netherworld. It was humans that did that. Demons are still just as feared as ever... though people tend to fear us more when in a corporate setting...
Apparently humans don't even think of Vampires and Werewolves as demons anymore.
Very well, in order to correct this egregious error, I shall take it upon myself to set straight this absurd misconception if I have to re-educate every last one of them, or my name isn't Valvatorez!

Apparently the fact that these are through my body unnerves her. Really, humans fret over the smallest things.

[Yes, even the Demon Overlord of the Netherworld has heard of Twilight.]

[Valvatorez hasn't! Coming from 400 years before the book's been written will do that.]

[He only knows this stuff because Flonne loves the books. And she won't shut up about 'em.]
