I guess the only thing a guy can do sometimes is trust that his little girl is strong enough, right?

That's about the size of it.

It's not so different from what every father goes through eventually. You do your best to teach her everything you think she'll need, and then one day it's time to watch her go out into the world and hope you did a good enough job.

The only difference is I don't get to watch my little girl grow up.

Well for what it's worth you seem like a better dad than I ever was.

I'm in the same boat on not getting to watch her grow up. Part of that was my fault, but someone else took away my chance at ever making things right.

And she's done nothing but make me proud even when I failed her.
