Someone woke up, and he's not happy.
Enough.
You have fleshed out in painful detail the events that brought me to this point and Korra and her Equalists to hers. There is no excuse for any more continued delays.
Either get me into a game or leave me alone. I have two elements to master without any past lives to help guide me.
I wish Master Tenzin were here.

Perhaps you would care for some soothing tea? Or something to eat to help you relax?

How unfortunate, don't you find it stifling?
no subject
A bit. But it is a precious keepsake and a necessity. I wear it proudly. [He bows politely to her.] I am Amon. And you are?

I am Joo Dee, former Supreme Bureaucratic Administrator of Bai Sing Sei. Now I help to facilitate the needs of some muses.

...also a sky bison. Miss Blueberry Spicehead.

Miss Blueberry Spicehead doesn't seem to mind.

[She shuffles forward and produces a bag of berries passing it to him.]
This should do the trick.

Hello there, Miss Blueberry Spicehead.

And Tenzin thinks I can learn airbending from you. Or one of your people, anyway. Don't tell him, but I'd be satisfied keeping you on the island. Maybe then things wouldn't feel quite so lonely.

She still hasn't done anything?

Dare I ask how you've been doing? [With muns, the answer to that could be more than a little unpleasant.]
no subject
Me? I've been fine. Doing really nothing.
no subject
As much as my world's Korra is my enemy, I actually rather enjoy your presence.
no subject
You do? Um, thank you.
no subject
I do. You're a very tough woman to have endured what you have at your age. You seem to be the only Korra I've met so far who can speak calmly with me, as well.
no subject
Hm.
Thank you again but I'm surprised. I thought it would have brought the others out. Guess that's a good thing. I've learned to ignore that you're not the Amon from my world.
no subject
I hope I never meet the Amon from your world. He seems like a nightmarish figure.
no subject
He was. [She goes quiet for a little.] I ended up having nightmares because of him. I try not to think about them.
no subject
I'm sorry. I've had nightmares about the Korra of my world. About how useless I would be without my bending; how everything would be for nothing, how many people I'd have let down... [His voice grows soft, head bowed.] In my dreams Republic City burns and she laughs while she rips off my mask, grabs me and takes my bending away forever.
no subject
Don't worry about it. I'm fine now. [She looks down and shakes her head some then looks up.] Ever thought of talking to her parents? Are they aware of what she's doing? She's a bender. A bloodbender too.
no subject
I don't know if Korra's parents are aware of what she's doing or not. She claims they came with her as a small girl to Republic City, and that they were abused at the hands of benders. She's never made a statement on them besides that.
Still, it's a lead worth looking into. Thank you, Avatar Korra.

They're probably lies. Try exposing her if you can. [Shrugs]
Your welcome.

You're a remarkably good friend for a woman who, in another life, wants me dead.
