[Spotting a nearby bench, he ambles over to it and plops down.]

[Kotetsu shrugs, watching a couple of ducks float by on a nearby pond.]

Maybe. But it seems pretty sad already, that you feel like can't talk about it! That just makes the sadness worse, in my opinion.

[The Hero tries not to push. They just met, after all. She doesn't have to tell say anything if she doesn't actually want to.]

[She reaches for something tucked away in her pocket; it's a flower, seemingly a lotus, in a vivid red color.]

[The red color seems to burn out all the others, as if Kotetsu's whole vision has gone black and white except for these petals. He blinks, then looks back at his companion.]

[Hopefully that's the correct response. Alright to go ahead? Alright to hear it? He's not sure.]

[She hesitates for a moment-- not because of any reservation of her own, but out of knowing full well what his reaction will be.

And then she recites, holding the bloom up almost melodramatically:]

He considers a few responses, staring out at the ducks. If he's learned anything during his past year with Bunny, it's this - you can't always fix other people. So he doesn't yell, doesn't threaten, because that won't help.]
