Lecturing the Mundane about her fretting. (Canon is Book Girl/Bungaku Shoujo)

Miss Mun, you don't have to worry about my family's resolution. You've read everything and understand it, right? If you do, then everything will be perfectly fine! I'm not going to vanish..and knowing the truth is always better than not, so don't worry. Just keep on trying to write, and I think you'll be fine.

Sure, your playing of me might be different now, but that's okay. There was no way you could have found out the truth before, so it's alright. Just try to write so that it shows now. It's like writing an original character in a story and finding out midway through the process that there was a hidden, tasty layer buried in them somewhere. You might have to rewrite to make sure that the layer is shown a little bit more..but as long as you do so, it'll be okay!

And..it's okay if you can't fully understand Alissa or Auntie. Even now, I still can't fully understand them, no matter how much I read..but as long as we keep trying, I think we'll be okay. We just have to keep on running like Melos.

And Miss Mun, please read a little bit more! You've been reading less recently! You're going to starve your soul if this keeps up! You might be trying to diet, but that's not the way to do it!

Of course! After all, she does listen sometimes. Not all the time, but some, so my efforts aren't in vain! I imagine that you think it's a waste of time though, right? Or..come to think of it, can you see what your Mundane is going to do with your Compass?

Well..if you can't, then how can you say that it's impossible to lecture a Mun and not have them listen to you? I'm sure your has listened to you sometimes, right?

It is only normal for a change to occur once something unknown to a person is revealed to them, which just might be the case with your Mun. They're just like that. And if you're unlucky they won't let you live it down.

[Like Lucifel dodging Gale attacks looking like he's swaying his hips like Patrick Swayze.]

... Something like that up there, for example.

Oh, I know! She's just really nervous about this change, even though I think she'll be fine. She won't let me live down anything like that..but you must have some hidden talent as a dancer if you can dodge attacks like that, Lucifel! I bet the audience would love you!

[Tohko, on the other hand, can't even do a handstand, even though she does try to act like she'll be able to do it.

..And the Muse would just pout and glare a little at that.]

..I think most Mundanes are pretty similar when it comes to things like this, even if we don't always like it. But..what's a Gale? It's probably not the same as Enoch's weapon if you're able to dodge and sway your hips like that. Or am I wrong?

In the end they will all be fine, they're just over worried.

While it's not a bad talent, I think I'm the wrong angel one should refer to when one speaks of dancing.

The Gale is a weapon that uses projectiles. Shaped like a ring, a bit like a bow and arrow if that helps.

I wish they wouldn't be though..especially when everything will be okay.

[If Tohko had seen it, she'd say it looked nice but strange for Lucifel. Thankfully, the Mundane had not let her see it and was flinging things out without her knowledge.

Sadly, Tohko wouldn't know of Armaros's love of dancing. Or, if she had, the memory had faded a little.]

But I don't think you're the wrong Angel to think about when it comes to dancing. There might be a few others that are more skilled than you, but your moves aren't bad! And thank you! That does help..if it's like the Arch, it must be pretty amazing to watch in action.

[Lucifel could take some comfort in the fact that no Mun ever let their Muse off the hook when they did foolish things or looked a little silly. No one would really have stopped poking fun at him, much less his much.

As for Tohko's comment, it was supposed to be a compliment..but she looked a little puzzled as Lucifel's Mun spoke from the fourth wall.]

I don't think so. After all, she does listen to me sometimes, so it's not completely useless.

[A few muses in Tohko's Mun's head could get by with being teased, but..it was mostly because they were either too mellow and calm to take offense or be teased, and because they could tease right back. None of them were insane..but Lucifel probably had quite a bit of trouble dealing with that sort of Muse if the Mun kept them both together.

And there's nothing wrong with loving the fourth wall.]

You heard me. If you're the Black Swan or Odile, does that make Michael Odette and Enoch Siegfried?

[She wanted to ask if God would be Rothbart, but even she had a feeling that a question like that wouldn't be well-received on Lucifel's end.]

Well, the name of your special attack does..but, then again, that's just your Mundane's nickname for your skills, so it doesn't mean that you're actually Odile or that Michael is Odette, I suppose. Not that that's a bad thing, considering how that story goes!

I'm not sure if I get why you were referring to Michael and Enoch to this story.

Well, some people refer to Odile as the Black Swan, since they can't recall her name, so I thought both you and your Mundane were talking about that. So, if you were calling yourself Odile, there would have to be and Odette and Siegfried. Michael is your brother, but he's also your opposite in a lot of ways, so I thought he would easily fit into the Odette role, and Enoch would be Siegfried because he's the only one I can think of that would fit the role of the human prince. Does that make any sense?

[..This is true. And it was mostly because Tohko wasn't really familiar with any other Angels from Enoch's world. Sure, she knew of the Grigori, Archangels, and Armaros, but..Armaros-in her mind-wasn't really the opposite of Lucifel like Michael was, even if he was a good dancer.

But, at that comment, Tohko would sputter for a moment, surprised and outraged by that question.]

No way! I'm not a rotten girl or obsessed with homosexual pairings! I'm a book girl, and in reading books and understanding authors, you see more than just heterosexual relationships in and behind them, after all! Anderson is a good example of this! [There's books about their world, he must know because he has seen them. And out of all beings she only referred to the males. And those he was close to.... not that there was anyone aside from them.

[Sadly, while the novels and game did exist in her world, Tohko wouldn't be that familiar with them, as the basis of those novels was the video game, and..she couldn't really play those at home. She didn't have a console or enough knowledge about it to play the game. She and tech didn't really see eye-to-eye sometimes.

Sure, there was the Bible, non-canonical religious texts, and other stories that involved Angels and the Grigori, but that didn't mean that what she had read in those things would be exactly like what Lucifel and Enoch's world was like.

As for only mentioning males, while she had heard of Ishtar and the Freeman, she..couldn't really see Ishtar in the role of Odette. In Tohko's mind, Ishtar would try to defeat Rothbart and break the curse. Not that falling in love wasn't an option, but..she had a feeling that Ishtar would make a more aggressive, passionate Odette. Plus, Michael worked more as an opposite to Odette-the White Swan beside the Black Swan. At least, in her mind.

And it wasn't hard to get a reaction like this out of Tohko, if one hit the right buttons.]

I am not! Just because I think you might fit those characters doesn't mean that the plot or emotions will be exactly the same! There are a few different versions of Swan Lake, you know! Besides, my idea was completely inaccurate anyway! And..Odile and Siegfried didn't get together. She tricked him, but that's it.

[Their story would leave a bitter and salty aftertaste to her anyways. Their tales were cruel and sad after all.

Then Ishtar might make a good Siegfried...

And she should get to know Galiel.

Lucifel just stared at her once she was done talking. Look who dropped the brick after such a long time.]

[Yet, she would have gulped down every single one. After all, they weren't completely salty, even if they were sad and cruel. It would have been like eating sea-salt taffy or nibbling on a salad that had a sharp vinegar sauce.

She would..depending upon the adaptation. There were only a few versions where killing Rothbart worked, but in those, she would have shined as Siegfried. And Tohko would like meeting Galiel, even if her origins and past history were dark and cruel.

Tohko was the master at dropping the brick when she wasn't helping people with stories. At that response though, Tohko just sighed.]

I'm sorry. I did say that my speculation was inaccurate. Besides..I would think that Enoch would be much closer to you than Michael. Not that he hates him..but you are his anchor. If this actually was Swan Lake for you all, the roles would be quite different..but I don't know enough about your world and characters personally to see who would fit and how it would go.

[She really is being genuine with this apology, Lucifel. She might get mad and flustered sometimes, but when she's sorry, she's sorry.]

I think my mun might have taken some of your mun's desire to read. She apologizes for that.

I don't know if she has..but if she's borrowed some of my Mundane's desire, that's fine! Just as long as she gives it back once she's done with it! But your Mundane borrowing my Mundane's desire to read doesn't excuse her completely. If she doesn't finish off her library books soon, they're going to have to go back. It's terrible when you waste food like that, Konoha!

I didn't make it about food! It's just a comparison! There's nothing wrong with comparing two things!

[Which wouldn't be weird for Konoha, since Tohko glared or pouted at him nearly every day. That glare would intensify though.]

I'm not a glutton or a goblin! How many times do I have to tell you that I'm just a normal book girl?! I didn't make it about food, since my Mundane can't nibble books like I can, but I can still see that it's a waste when she gets wonderful books and doesn't manage to finish them before they have to go back!

[ He loves you. Really. Somewhere deep within his soul. He does. Really. ]

You claim not to be a glutton and then whenever we're alone, it's like "Oh, Konoha, write me something delicious today!"

And then I end up writing for you, and you scarf the whole thing down within ten minutes, no matter how badly written it is.

[They both loved each other. Their squabbling was just..part of that. Even if Tohko didn't like it. However, Tohko's glare would be coupled with a pout this time around.]

That's because I'm a book girl, a lover of literature! [And because she wants you to get more comfortable with writing, but there's no way Tohko's going to mention that.]

If I just left it half-eaten, it would be a waste, and if the ending got any better, I wouldn't know! I wouldn't want to miss out on a scrumptious ending! And I always tell you not to write badly-written stories! If you're going to claim I'm a glutton, then you have to accept the fact that you're a jerk with no respect towards your president!

[ This is some god awful dirty talk, you two. ]

Respect is something that has to be earned to some degree, it's not something you're entitled to.

I respect you enough as my upper classman, however little you act like it. When you demand that I be your lapdog, that just makes me want to respect you less.

[The only reason Tohko wasn't bonking Konoha on the head was because she wasn't quite expecting a comment that harsh and her first instinct was to reply to it with words rather than fists. Their normal banter was the stuff she would bonk head over. That? No way.]

I've never demanded that you be my lapdog, Konoha! I've never, ever said that, not even once! And I do act like a sensible president worthy of respect! Haven't you seen that, even a little, through all we've been through?!

[ The first thing that rolls through his mind is a big "absolutely not," in response to whether he had seen her sensibility as a president, or her "demands" that she do this or that for her, or for the book club, or ... everything pertaining to them. He opens his mouth to respond, but then closes it.

A part of him realizes that the thing he said before just wasn't okay. Part of him really wants to apologize, but there's also a bit of pride within him that says that no, he has to say it sometime, he has to get out all of his frustrations.

And then that part of him interjects again, stating that Tohko isn't a bad person, and she doesn't deserve that. In fact, his life is more enjoyable because she stepped in, however troublesome it is at the same time. However annoying of a glutton she was, she had still been there for him through some really tough times.

All of this at once left him at a complete loss of what to say, whether it's to apologize or to continue to tell her off.

Maybe it was better that he look away and keep his mouth shut. ]

[Tohko, in turn, would stop pouting and glaring, and while she would sigh, she would replace the angry look with a small smile. She knew that she could be selfish sometimes in keeping Konoha mostly to herself..but that didn't mean that she had demanded him to be her lapdog at her beck and call. She hadn't ever wanted to demand that either. She had her own reasons for getting involved with Konoha, but an urge like that wasn't part of it.

But..selfish actions did produce bad feeling and consequences, like what had happened just now. She didn't like it, but..it was understandable, on some level. The fact that Konoha was keeping his mouth shut right now was proof that he was feeling a little conflicted about what he said. At least, in Tohko's head it was.

So, she just kept on smiling and tried to move so that she could look him in the eye.]

[ Nope, nope, nope, he's not ready to look at her again just yet. He's gonna keep his eyes away from her even when she tries to move to look at him more directly. He just doesn't know what'll come out of his mouth when his eyes lock with hers again, and he doesn't want to risk doing something he'll regret later.

Sorry, Tohko, you'll have to try a little harder with him right now. ]

[Well, since he seemed so determined to not lock eyes with her, Tohko tried a different approach. Gently, carefully, she tried to hold Konoha's hands to both calm him down a little and to get her attention. She didn't want to be ignored by the person she loved.]

Konoha, please don't ignore me.

[Her voice matched the warm, gentle smile on her face. Of course, it was a little sad, but only those really familiar with looking at Tohko's mask and seeing every part of it would notice that it was even sad. She was trying to put on a bold front again, a small facade of the kind, upbeat, capable book girl she always tried to act like.]

[ ... Ugh, he couldn't keep away from her like this. Slowly, he turned to look at her and hoped that what came from his mouth next wouldn't make things worse. ]

... Sorry.

[ Okay, that was fine. ]

[And Tohko's smile would become more genuine at that. Her grip would only tighten a little on his hands though, so if he didn't want her to touch him, he would have to let her know.]

It's alright. Just..think a little bit more before you say things like that, okay?

Such things are bound to happen when you've been picked up before your canon's end. Your mundane should not worry so much.

She really shouldn't, especially since everything turned out alright in the end, so hopefully she'll listen to me and everyone else here. But..she seems to be the type that worries and frets over almost everything, even if she's doing alright at it, so I think she'll be okay in the end.

How is everything holding up on your end though, Enoch? Is your Mundane okay? Hopefully she isn't worrying too.

She has little to worry over anymore. *His author seems content to retread the same story many times rather than continue, but then again, he's...sort of...dead anyway, after a certain point. He is a product of Ceta, so does he have a place in Ruta at all? He's more worried than his mundane, honestly.*

Not over me, that is. Life itself will always give her reason to worry, it seems.

[While Tohko knew nothing of Enoch's story beyond what she had found out in the Tower, her Mundane did know a little bit about the different timelines. Not much, but some. However, Tohko sighed and smiled a little. While she didn't know what Enoch's Mundane was going through, she could see what was going on in her own Mundane's life.]

It seems like life's always giving people reasons to worry, but..hopefully she'll be alright. Mundane's do tend to worry a lot, so..maybe everything will work out alright, despite all that.
