Muse has a couple of questions (and a bit of encouragement for her mun)
Are you absolutely certain you wish to do this, mun? My application will not be easy, considering how little you learn about my history in the film.
[You know I am. Mostly. And I have the novelisation.]
Well then. There’s nothing for you to do but get to work. The sooner you do, the sooner this adventure can begin. [Elizabeth pauses, looking a little unsure.] Does my being... deceased change things? You can’t have missed that particular detail of the film. It won’t cause you any difficulty in sending me anywhere, will it?
[No, Elizabeth. You being dead shouldn’t be a problem. We’ll find you a home. Promise.]
[She smiles a little.] Good. And I’m glad to see you already have several possibilities in mind.

[Sherlock pulls her close by way of greeting, holding onto her with surprising gentleness for a moment before pulling away.] Apologies. My mun just finished a 'canon review', and... [And seeing her die, again, does more to him than he'll ever admit.]
My mun got so wrapped up in her own ideas she threw my application in to the Wake, with little to no thought about what I or you wanted.
But rest assured wherever you go, I will go as well. And worry not about your state of affairs; I had a friendship with a young woman during my LiveJournal days that was more or less based on my helping her figure out her own murder, and she went on to be in several games.
[And that's all Elizabeth ever need know about Tamara, or else Sherlock will just depress himself with how little he could help her as well in the end.]

[Her face lights up at his words, but it’s tempered by concern.] Are you certain? I would be glad to have you near, but if you can’t, or if your mun can’t... I won’t hold it against you. I could never hold it against you. [She smiles again. Because it’s Sherlock. And no matter what has happened... ] But it would be better with you there.
[She exhales softly.] So my... state of affairs shouldn’t limit my mun’s choices. [Now that he’s here she won’t use the words. She won’t hurt him that way.] That’s good news. [Of course he would put his intellect to use helping someone solve a crime. She would be more surprised if he hadn’t.]

My mun has the time for two games. Moreover, she understands how important you are to me. Things are better this way.
It won't. A game would be lucky to have you. [He smiles warmly at her, genuinely meaning it. To him, games were miracles in that she would be there and be alive, and that was all that mattered.]

As long as you’re certain. As long as you’re both certain.
[Her smile is just as warm. Anywhere will be better with him beside her. If these games give her a second chance, she will take it.] They will be lucky to have you, too.

Caring not for modesty or decorum or society's standards in general, he reaches one hand down to card his fingers in her hair. The softness seems to relax him instantly, his shoulders losing some of their tension.]
We're both quite certain, Elizabeth. I tire of failing the women in my life.
[If she's watched the movie with her mundane, she's seen that hallucination that he had in the graveyard. Elizabeth isn't stupid; she doesn't need context to gleam from that what he had done.]

Then we go. Together.
[She rises up on her toes and gently presses her lips to his. She’s seen his hallucination. She knows. She also knows that while she doesn’t believe he failed her at all, knows he didn’t fail her... he feels differently. Perhaps being together in a game will help her to change that. They will be together. That’s all that matters.]

I never want to be alone, he'd said once, before he'd even lost her, before he even had an inkling of what loneliness was. Loneliness was not pain. It was not sadness. It was letting all of those emotions fade because there was no one to share them with, letting everything his heart felt fade until he was empty.
He is not himself without her.]

Being with him here, now, makes it all too evident how empty things are without him. How important a piece of her he is. A game will be better with him beside her. She will be better with him beside her. But she is scared to hope. To dream. To wish. She would understand if things changed, if they couldn’t be together. But oh, how she would miss him.]

I've been accepted into the Wake. But the Activity requirements are very reasonable; so much so some muns have three or four people there at the same time with no trouble.
I will not leave you. This development changes nothing. Nothing, do you understand? [He looks at her, sincere as he's ever been, and dedicated.]
no subject
I know. [She smiles fondly up at him.] I would understand, if it did. But I’m glad to hear that it doesn’t. A game will be all the more bearable with you there beside me. [Being alive once more will not be the same without him there.]
DID SOMEONE SAY DEPRESSED SHERLOCK? =D
Cue a pair of big brown eyes with a sad look in them, and a pair of shaky hands fidgeting with the folds of a dusty green dress.]
...I really only...went on to two of them. Neither of them for very long, but...it was really my fault, anyway.
[She feels a little like she's intruding, but...her Mun insisted.]
This is awesome and so are you.
[Sherlock places a hand on her shoulder, looking at her and stating firmly,] Nothing was your fault.
