[Stitch cautiously skitters forward to investigate the stomping. Now the creature is...whining? Sure sounds unhappy!]

Whoah okay! Aljeeba naga?

[Hopefully if it's a robot, it's got some kind of translation software? Stitch's language is a bit scrambled from a recent crash!]

what could possibly go wrong!

[Tiny alien creature! Dog recognizes garbled human speech. Sort of.

It bends down inquisitively, making a low-pitched whirring or chattering noise, head tilted. Alien friend, not foe, yes? No attacking?]

Nothing at all!

[No! No attacking! Stitch good now, don't want to start a fight! Especially not so close to the house!]

[That is definitely the "down" position, he recognizes it from Lilo's futile attempts to teach him tricks. Cautiously, Stitch reaches out a paw.]

Er... good dog?

[Good dog -- yes, good Dog! Thank you for noticing! It nods its head twice in succession, emitting happy chirps.]

Bweeuoh!

[It then raises an enormous hand, very gently taking the smaller creature's paw between two giant fingers.]

[Stitch isn't worried about the robot hurting him. After all, he's been designed to take laser-fire right to the face! It's better to make friends, though.

He returns the shake with a big, toothy grin.]

Agrejanda? Nejga mihalo- Shoot... wait...

[He mutters to himself in frustration, and whacks the side of his head. What is wrong with his programming?!]

Brrkkch buooh.

[New friend is good. Dog is always up for new friends! And also any alien life that is not actively trying to destroy it and its family. That's always a plus.

It notices the little guy's distress, though, and peers in even closer. Something wrong with friend? Dog uses the same hand to tap him curiously on the head.]

[The smaller alien tumbles head over heels from the tap! He rolls back up giggling. He's getting general impressions from the robot - Non-aggressive, friendly - But not words. Concentrating hard, he manages to ground out -]

Stitch... voice.. broken.

[Missing some conjunctions, but at least the words are in correct order!]

[Oops. Dog holds its finger still for a minute and blinks its eye. Didn't mean to do that. But the blue thing seemed to like it, so Dog, too, gives a whining laugh.

How do you fix alien voice? Dog solves big problems. By throwing things, usually, but he can try to help this new friend. In a surprisingly human gesture, Dog leans forward on one fist. Time to put on his Thinking Cap.

Unfortunately being wordless, on Stitch's side it probably just looks like Dog's staring intently at him.]

[Cocking his head, Stitch watches the robot. What's it doing? Did it freeze? Finally, he waves a hand in front of it's face.]

Aloha? Hi?

[Dog has no idea how to fix this problem. A closer look might help!

So it just goes ahead and uses a hand to scoop the blue thing up.]

[Whoah! This guy is faster then Stitch thought! Still, it's giving off "friendly." Peering closer, he tries to identify the technology. It's definitely a unique design.]

My... my name Stitch. IS Stitch!

[Almost a complete sentence there! Maybe he just needs to keep talking?]

You?

[That was good! Dog nods, showing it understands. New friend is Stitch!]

Bweooh! [Which is about all it can say on the matter.

It directs Stitch to the faded text on its main body: "D‎ØG". Though it doesn't know if Stitch can read. A guttural, mechanical whir is all it can do to emulate the sound.]

[Whatever's scrambled, it didn't affect reading! Stitch considers the name, then gives a high-pitched giggle.]

Dog? Eeeheehehee BIG Dog!

What... What doing here?

[Is Dog laughing with Stitch? Sounds like it, as distorted and limited its voice is. Big Dog and little dog!

Dog shrugs a large shoulder, though, at his question; and its head hangs lower. What is anyone doing here? It's not like any of its family are around.]

[Missfamily. That comes through loud and clear, so strong it makes Stitch's own chest ache. He flings all his arms around Dog. Okay, maybe the robot can't feel it. But it's beter to try, right? (Better then to start screaming, break things, where are they where are they?]

Sitch looking for ohana too. Lilo. Nani. Jumba, Quigly, David.

[Tails will just be tilting his head at this robot that looks pretty impressive! It's just a good thing he's learned to squelch that "ROBOT MEANS TRAPPED ANIMAL" instinct.]

Hey, big guy. Are you lost?

[What is this? Could be a new animal. Dog's never seen any Earth animals before.

It blinks once, looks around, and gazes back down at him. A nod and a disappointed moan is all it can do to say, Yes, yes I am lost.]

Bwuu.

[Aw man, Tails can translate that much from Dog's sounds. He nods back sympathetically.]

It's always kinda scary to get taken away from places and people you know, I know the feeling.

But I'm sure any friends you're missin' are around here somewhere!

[Trying to be positive!]

[Dog's head-flaps bend back as it lowers down to become a little more eye-level with the furry creature. His optimism is infectious. It nods again, enthusiastically this time.]

Bwee!

[Yes, Alyx must be somewhere around here too! Good thinking! In its excitement, it pounds the ground again in a little dance, careful not to hit the little guy.]

[And Tails backs away from those fists, just in case, but he's laughing a little. Good to know that the robot's cheered up for now!]

I'm sure they'll find you here sooner or later. In the meantime, do you have some kinda designation? My name's Tails!

[Tails: tiny friendly animal who is trying to help. Another nod to show it understands his name, not that it could repeat.

Dog seems to think for a moment, then perks up as if remembering something. It points to its main hull, on the corner of which, above its head, is "D‎ØG" written in worn yellow letters.]

[And Tails stands up on his tip toes, to get himself a good look.]

..."DOG", huh?

That's a pretty cool name!

[A high-pitched beep to say, Thank you, yes, it is a cool name! A cool name for a Good Dog.

Its head tilts to the side as it peers around the animals' back. Then, it points. "Tails" because...tails?]

Huh?

Oh! Yeah, these are why they call me Tails! Maybe not all that creative, but I like it!

[It's a heck of a lot better than Miles, to be sure. And he'll just be looking Dog over because WOW this is a neat robot.]

Man, whoever built you is really ingenuitive, or at least really resourceful!

[Probably about as creative as "Dog" gets.

If a robot can manage to look bashful as Tails looks it over, it does so. But, the next whine it makes sounds appreciative as it agrees. Alyx is the best at adding to Dog and building it strong. ...It wishes it could articulate that.]
