I've never heard of a great Knight or warrior coming from a town this small.

No corn. Just weasels, and occasionally a dire badger. Not really the kind of adventure that I'm looking for.

And small towns can be valuable... If you're being chased or need a quick snack on the road..

There are better ones too. If I were in Whitecastle, for instance, I'd probably be well on my way to a Knighthood by now.

..well, there is a tavern, and of course the grocery store. If you were looking for something to eat.

Always look on the bright side. Trowbridge, was it? Trowbridge might bring you an adventure that you'd never have in Whitecastle. You should give it a chance.

A tavern would do. If it had a barmaid.

I've lived in Trowbridge my whole life, the most interesting things are the Dire Badger and the occasional world hopper that comes around.

It has two, but you wouldn't be their type.

You could... lasso the badger and see how far you get before it figures out how to buck you off and... Well, I guess the possibility of seeing your own guts is unappealing. The 'world hoppers' your best chance of excitement then?

Even when I know that is true, sometimes it still doesn't feel like it will happen.

No, just a state in the land I was born, it is complex. No kingdoms, just a country split not states. I am from a place called Kansas.
