[ He held his hand out to Scott. Offering a handshake. A peace offering. ]

I'm not sure I believe you.

[But he holds out his hand because he's not the first baddie turned good necessarily. Scott's worked with Peter and the twins are certainly trying to worm their way in his pack. He's more apt to trust the twins, than Peter, and he'll trust Peter way before he'll trust Matt.]

[ Oh Scott, so very trusting. Matt's fingers close over the alpha's hand. But as they do, his hand changes. Scales ripple across his knuckles, and venom-tipped claws sink into Scott's hand. Not nearly as potent as Jackson's hand been, but it gets the point across. ]
