Better not to question a mun when they get it into their head that you're going to get into trouble. If you're looking for a relatively safe bet, thewake is likely not to kick your ass too hard. You seem like the sort of girl who pays close enough attention that it's premise might even apply.

Oh, the concept isn't that strange! It's like the little voice inside your head, only it's a voice that belongs to someone else, so you can imagine what they might look like and do while they're speaking. Maybe imagining one of your friends saying something will help you understand.

But..if your Mundane really wants to write, I'm sure she'll be able to do so, even if she has other things going on. A lot of writers are able to keep going, even though they have a lot of other things to take care of and worry about. So, I think she'll be fine, but I do wish you both luck! Hopefully she won't put you in a horror game.
