You're not ready yet.
But you will be, with some practice. All things take training. And as with any partnership, you must familiarise yourself with the other person. Get to know them. Their quirks, ways of thinking, how they move and feel and see the world. How they have lived, and how they will die.
Or am I assuming too much? Perhaps I am nothing more than another soldier to you. Obedient. Disposable. As is inevitable.
And if that is all I am, what is my mission? Practice is useless if it does not have an intent. Think on it.
