Don't ruin it, I'm going to enjoy the quiet. It's not every day when he can only text me once, and that is if he's even lucky.

I'm going to enjoy the peace and quiet. My ears are positively ringing from the last few days. And no, mundane, I'm not supposed to feel bad. My brother's walked into that one all by himself, so he can walk out of it the same way.

I'm not bored. Tea and cigarettes would, however, be a bonus in this place.

If by 'escape' you mean being 'returned,' then yes.

The thing about interrogation; Sherlock. It's usually done the other way around. Captives who get talked to, they don't usually go free.

I have no idea what you're even trying to figure out. This whole scheme for lack of a better word, was hatched before I even got there.

It's a stupid plan that will end in tears for Sherlock. And yes, he knows what I think of it.

[Of course he has a contingency plan for it. If it'd been up to Mycroft then Sherlock wouldn't have gone.]

Dangerous? [Thinks about it. That boils down to how stupid Sherlock decides to be.] I'll be impressed if he comes back in one piece. Chances are he'll still be breathing.

Why's he doing it, Mycroft? He can't be doing this one just for kicks. What's so important this time around?

I believe he is "doing it for the kicks". We know where the hostages were kept- they were rescued. The original ones anyway. We also have two members of the opposing side captured for interrogation, and another team is en route to finding what the captors wanted in the first place.

[John sits in silence, you can practically see the gears turning in his brain as he tries to grasp the details. So the hostages are safe. The enemy captured. An investigation underway. Why? Why isn't all that good enough?]

Do you think there's someone he can't trust? On one of the rescue teams?

[Oh very good, John. Mycroft's slightly impressed. Then again, you were military for a bit. Obviously you picked some things up.]

Sherlock trusts no-one in that place. And I can actually say I don't blame him for it. Either way the whole situation will resolve itself, dragging the rest of us back into it's mundane lifestyle.
