sobs into hands
Okay, look, I don't know what you're so worked up about. You're not the one with the really arrogant username, you haven't been kidnapped from your mom and your home, and you aren't the one who's basically alone surrounded by total strangers.
What do you even plan to do with me, anyway? It'd be kind of a jerk move to send me to some other world, especially if the Autobots are there. You know they'd feel obligated to keep me from getting squashed by Decepticons, and I think I owe them enough already.
.. Though.. I wouldn't mind seeing them again.. Just to say hi, you know?

And here I thought we had something special.
[Hi Jack.]

[ at least, not so soon. not with so much for the autobots to do on cybertron. ]
.. Er. [ a pause, awkward, rubbing his arm sheepishly. ] It's not that. You know you guys are family. It's just.. you've got a lot on your plate already without adding me to it again.

Trust me, I was pulled away from my plate a long time ago, kiddo.
[There's just a tiny hint of bitterness. Thanks mun.]
Don't think you're the only one getting pulled around by their strings here. By the way? Welcome to the party.
no subject
[ and then, after a moment, a little dryly: ] Because it's such a party, right? All the good ones have death, destruction, and horrible trauma.

[The sarcasm cannot get any heavier.
At his concern, however, she simply does her best to wave it off. Mostly because she'd rather not worry her squishy human bff; what sort of hello would that be?]
And relax, I'm fine. If I didn't know better, I'd almost think you didn't believe I can take care of myself.
[There's the barest hints of a smile.]
...Besides, if anyone's worried, it's me.
no subject
[ his expression softens, though, and he shuffles closer, leaning a little against her calf. ] C'mon, I'm fine. I was mostly joking about the death and destruction thing. [ mostly. probably. ] Anyway, I can handle it. You and Optimus and the others taught me a lot.

[He Autobot medic is only joking of course, but he's glad to see Jack. In a way, he feels like he should apologize. For leaving them so suddenly back on earth. But he isn't sure how to articulate it.]
I'm sure you wouldn't let anyone squash you in the first place.
no subject
[ at that, though, he colours a little, rubbing the back of his neck. ]
Well.. I'd certainly try not to get stepped on or anything. That'd be a pretty embarrassing way to die.
no subject
[He chuckles and waves his hand dismissively.]
You do well around Cybertronains, and you're mindful of where they are for the most part. I used to worry about you three, when we first met you. But, now I can be at ease.
You'll be fine.
no subject
[ despite himself, he grins. ] Trust me, I remember. You were pretty grumpy for a long time about us being there.
[ he rocks back a little on his heels, peering up at him. ]
Are you with the other Autobots, now?
no subject
[He lets a sigh escape his vents and nods.]
In the games I'm in? Yes, I currently am in both I'm in. But we're all from different timelines as far as I can tell and..
[Well he's from the very end of the entire series, and movie. And it's made him a little anxious.]
You never know if saying something in game will change something back home. For better or worse.

Not to say ending up with a mun is a twenty-four-seven downer because they do manage to be nice once in a while.
no subject
[ he's not sure he believes that. then again.. ] Well, I guess it has been nice seeing Arcee and Ratchet.
no subject
[He shrugs a little bit.]
But yeah. At least I can say the game I'm in has both my brother and my field partner there with me. Take what you can get, dude.
[And he'll refrain from commenting on Arcee. The times they ran across each other in a game, the results were...not good.]
no subject
[ he clears his throat, moving on. ]
Must be nice. I mean, to have family there. 'Field partner', though?
no subject
Yeah, Six and I used to work for the same organization. Technically, he was my "handler" before he was my field partner. [A small smirk.] I was the loose cannon they needed to keep a leash on, so Six got stuck with me. He was the one who brought me on board in the first place and I guess they figured an ex-mercenary could deal with me better than anyone else.
