On the theft and violation of her cake.
No, mundane, I refuse to admit that I overreacted. My only regret is that I wasn't able to properly punish the perpetrator. The fact that a woman cannot leave her belongings unattended in her own home without having them stolen is just... appalling. Zeref will pay for what he's done... One way or another.
[She sighs.]
It's amazing how chaotic things become in my absence and now it falls to me to discipline the involved parties; including Lucy.
[Almost makes you wish you had help keeping everything under control, doesn't it?]
The only other person capable of enforcing that sort of discipline would be Kagura. While I would enjoy speaking with her again I would never wish for her to participate in a war that she doesn't have to fight.
...Simon would never forgive me if I dragged her into it.
[She sighs.]

I didn't realize it was that important to you. [ Being immortal doesn't mean he no longer needs to eat. These two are the most dysfunctional roommates ever. ] Couldn't someone just bake you another strawberry cake?
no subject
I suppose you know where to find all of the ingredients as well as a baker free of charge?
no subject
I would assume the same place where the transports get all of their other food. Of course, I avoid them. The entire premise of that game is disturbing enough without being reminded that it is impossible to gain food through more 'normal' means.
[ He sighs, and opens his eyes, looking away from her. This was embarrassing and beneath him, but he did promise Lucy he'd at least try to get along with her guildmates. ]
And if you need a baker free of charge, ask Lucy. Her spirits can do it.
no subject
And why should Lucy have to correct your mistakes? When you've wronged someone shouldn't you be the one to make amends? Or doesn't that apply to you?
[This goes beyond the cake obviously.]

What she says next just causes him to frown, and lower his eyes. ]
That's irrelevant in a place where I can't die. At least, not permanently.

Wait a second what!? W.. Why do I need to be disciplined! I didn't do anything wrong!

U-um....well... th-that is...
I-i mean he is a friend...!

I.. I'm sure he didn't mean it Erza!!
He didn't know how much you like the cake!

Still, he can't help smiling just a little.]
I'm sure, he'll come to regret it.

I should make him buy me three new dresses and find me another cake since he believes it's so easy.
[It took her months and many wardrobe sacrifices to acquire that cake.]

He forces himself to be a little more serious though, considering what else can be read out of that statement, because well... he knows she doesn't need it probably, but still... he worries.]
Are things so dire in the place you've been sent to?

A few months ago the city we were living in came under attack and was obliterated. I... We left so many people to die...
[The decision to leave still didn't sit right with her and it likely never would.]
The survivors resent us and resources are in short supply, even the simplest commodities are difficult to come by.
My mun tells me that it's almost over and I find myself saddened by the news; not because I enjoy the suffering, but because I'll miss the friends I've made whilst fighting through it. I've gotten to meet many amazing people there, Jellal. I wish you could have met them.

After a moment he reaches out to place his hand on hers, a gesture of reassurance and comfort.]
I'm sorry. And I wish I could have met them too.
[Any person that Erza considers important is surely much more than just worth meeting after all.]
