Gerome had been attending to Minerva's claws when he suddenly heard a noise nearby. He'd thought for sure that everyone had gone out to eat in a nearby village, while staying behind. This was of course backed by his need to brood alone with no one but his beloved dragon partner. Unfortunately this was not the case at all, as the one slowly approaching was none other this his irritating mundane. Sighing to himself, the armored youth adjusted his position in order to face the one now in his presence.

"Why are you here? I'm currently busy." said the knight, eyes never removing themselves from the dragon's claws.

"Well I just wanted to stop by and let you know that it's your time to shine, kid. Gonna see if I can get the hang of dreamwidth, y'know? Probably toss you in a game."

"What...?"

"A game! A place for you to interact with people in a setting! Role play---"

"I know what you are talking about."

"...Then?"

"Then what?"

"Do you wanna join a ga--"

"No."

"Oh, c'mon--"

"No."

"Too bad for you 'cause it may happen without your consent anyway! C'mon, gotta get active now, right? Otherwise, you'll just fade away into the back of my mind like the rest of 'em."

A loud huff escapes Gerome, shoulders losing their poise at the sound of being used against his will. "It's not as if I can stop you. But I better not have to be separated from Minerva. Nor will I interact with others freely. Mark my words."

"What If I join a game with your friends in it?"

"I have no friends."

[Laxus raises an eyebrow, clearly confused, though trying very hard to not show it.]

Is that a dragon with you?

Scoffs the stranger without even a glance, continuing to tend to Minerva. Though, most people probably have not see a dragon outside of battle.

"Obviously."

It seems small.

[Laxus is used to dragons: most of the time, he is trying to kill them, and they are trying to eat him.]

Should you be trying to kill it or something?

"What!?"

The rider's eyes widened when hearing the remark. Minerva herself shot a glare towards the blonde haired male in preparation to attack. But the hand of her partner settled its rage for a moment.

"I don't know who you are, but unless you wish to have both fangs and an axe in between your chest, I suggest you leave.

[Laxus' eyebrows shot up, the mage visibly not expecting such a reaction, but he is soon back to his neutral self.]

I am a Dragon Slayer. The Lightning Dragon Slayer. It's my job to kill them. I don't see the problem with that since they are, you know, trying to exterminate the human species?

[The blond haired mage drew himself at his full height, a few sparks dancing on his skin.]

And I assure you, you will need more than an axe to even come close to touching me.

[Yeah, Laxus is a tad arrogant.]

It was that moment that Gerome became a full shade of red that could surpass any cherry placed beside him. With shouting something so unlike his character, he would climb his dragon's back and fly away. The only thing to be said in return to the mage was...

"Fuck off."

Gods, he's finally gone crazy - !

"What."

Those eyes were far too judgmental for his indifference not to take notice.

So weird to see a black haired Gerome! XD Mine is blond!

I enjoy my Gerome's either father by Henry or Lon'qu. Mostly the latter.

I often pair Lon'qu with the Avatar. I find them cute together!

I've only played with Male Avatar. I have no idea how the supports play.
