I would not seek to condemn Gimli to this castle, pleased as I am sure he would be to see the Lady Galadriel again. And I admit that I would be glad of his company. His is a far more pleasant presence than that of Thorin Oakenshield.

It is a wonder this castle has not been torn asunder yet if you are confined within its walls with that dwarf.

Oh yes, it is. Cair Paradisa seems to be a sentient and magic castle that has already turned me in a fawn once and a human shortly before that.

Thus far, I have not found it the most pleasant. Nor do I enjoy being blamed for events that have never transpired.

The castle belongs to none but itself. It is alive and wields a magic greater than anything in Middle Earth.

Gimli. It turned me into a fawn, made of me a human once. And made me believe that the Lady Galadriel was my mother.

Oh. Well. That is certainly troubling. [He bites his lip. Trying not laugh at you friend.] I'm sure you were a lovely fawn.

[Oh my gosh, Gimli! It wasn't funny.]

Lovely perhaps but it is not without difficulty adjusting to walking on four legs and then upon two once again when the loss was ended.

[Legolas would say he's too smart as well. That doesn't stop the castle from changing him. Or changing Galadriel into a swan.]
