I'll admit, I'm surprised. Given your history with miss Valkyrie, I would have guessed you were more suited than most to understand those with an unpredictable nature.

[He takes his time to answer. His mun is strange in a different way. Even if she has the same habit of talking a lot. He's also a ways past people being surprised or confused over his friendship with Nora. He gives a short 'hmm', but it's a sound of agreement. Or even a 'perhaps'. And just maybe there's an edge of amusement creeping to the look on his face that mostly the aforementioned Miss Valkyrie (Or talking about her strange ways) occasionally puts there - but not for long, back to the usual expression.]

You know, I'm actually very relieved that you and Miss Valkyrie found each other in the Emerald Forest. I have never seen a pair of students with such natural synergy before. It would have been a real shame to put you on separate teams.

She has an amazing amount of wild potential and needs a familiar focusing element to keep her talents from spiraling out of control. Likewise, I believe someone needs to keep you from focusing too much. The two of you make an exceptional team, each of you having something the other needs to function to the fullest of your potential.

That said, I do hope that she can learn to be more focused when away from you, and you can feel more comfortable opening up in her absence.

[Yeah, maybe that'll happen eventually, a long, long way off in the CR future. But his look gives you a not so sure response, even if his mun is nodding in agreement with you. And, you know, that and it's clearly asking how one focuses too much. But the challenge - what little of it there is, he's well disciplined and holds even his mental tongue in check - doesn't linger.
