I guess I should be grateful. [Even though he says that, his tone is gloomy and solemn.] It's better here than workin' for Moriarty, right? I just hope people treat ghouls here better than they do at home.

[Especially since a lot of people here have crazy super powers. Oh my god he's so nervous..!]

I wouldn't worry about it. If I can talk down Legate Lanius, I don't have any doubt that I won't be able to deal with him, too.

[Elle doesn't know a thing about Moriarty, but she knows herself and what she can do and what she has done. It's not so much confidence in her voice as it is complete and utter assurance. She squeezes his hands.]

She'll be safe. Everything will be okay.

[The last time Gob met someone who was so sure and capable of themselves they disarmed the live bomb in the middle of Megaton, and judging by the news on the radio, did a lot more once they left. It's the Protag vibe.]

[He makes a sound in his throat that somewhat resembles one of uncertainty, but.] It sounds crazy, but there's something about the look in your eyes that makes me believe you could do it.

I'm glad. [And she means it. She swings their hands a little, tilting her head.] Maybe it sounds crazy to you, but this isn't half as crazy as some of the other stunts I've pulled. Don't worry. I'll take care of you guys.
