Field work is done in groups, usually partners, sometimes more if there's a need.
As to what gets done: everyone has their own specialties. I don't get any of the wet work, for one.

That's interesting. Sounds like a big organization we're working in. What kind of field work are we talking about here?
Where I'm from you're the leader of the group I'm a part off. Our work is to fight back against unusual enemies to keep the civil population unknowing and safe. [To avoid revealing any details he might have made his work sound more organized than it was.] It's a voluntarily job. I brought the group together but after an incident you, or my version of you, had to take charge.

There are a couple of agencies, you know some of them. We're all aware of each other, and have usually have the courtesy to stay out of the others way, even if we don't always approve of the methods being used.
But that's always the case.
