Just like Danny is my producer, which is precisely why we're not dating. I don't get involved with people that I work directly with, even if they are really great guys. It's unprofessional.

I appreciate that you want me to be happy, but who says I'm not happy right now? I'm the anchor of a national newscast, working with the best people I could ask for, and hopefully doing some good in the world. I have faith that everything else will sort itself out.

Things are complicated with me and Danny. We actually grew up together. Then we fell out of contact after his brother passed away. Up until about a year ago, we hadn't seen each other since we were kids. And he's a great guy, really, but - that doesn't make him the right guy, you know?
