I know it's not PC for me to say my Grandpa's a badass, but I'm pretty sure that any mutant who says that they've never thought that Magneto was cool as hell at any point in their life is lying through their teeth. You know who I hoped would win out when I was locked up in juvy? Magneto. And this was before I even knew I was related to him! I just thought, hey. If anyone could bust me out of here it would be Magneto. That's what happens when normal people treat you like dirt all your life because you're different; you start to idolize the ones who are willing to fight dirty for your rights.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm a hero now. I need to keep my sights on Professor X or Captain America, people fighting for peace and justice. And I do respect them, like a lot, but it's not the same you know?
