[Trucy's going to mull this over, since if Jinxie's charms aren't working, then it's most likely that the mundane really isn't a youkai. But she'll still play along, because that's what friends do, right?]

Well, is he still doing mean things to you now?

See? Then you're okay!

[But Jinxie still seems a little frightened, so maybe she can try something else.]

[Okay, not a new trick. Not yet, anyway. And here comes one of his signature lines:]

[At first, Jinxie's charm hand twitches - a finely-honed surprise reflex - but she quickly recognizes Mr. Hat and her arm relaxes again.]

Oh! It's Mr. Hat!

[Such progress. Poor Mr. Hat got slapped with so many charms the first dozen or so times Jinxie saw this trick.]

[Trucy giggles, smiling wide. It's good to see that Trixie's smiling for once.]

And now for my next trick... I'm going to saw Mr. Hat in half!
