First day on the new job and the mun isn't helping.
I've got a lot of stuff to learn today. I just got my new desk and I've barely finished unpacking. I still have to learn where everything is, who all these people are, what the office policies are and about all the cases I'm assigned to. I'll be reading files for hours.
And I am very nervous, now that I'm suddenly working for one of the biggest firms in Chicago, answering directly to somebody whose name is on the wall.
That's not counting the few things I promised Scott I'd finish this week so that my old firm isn't short-handed.
Plus, oh yeah, my brother's still in a huff because I left a job he got me in order to take one working for somebody he's never met.
I really have enough going on without you being so excited about all of it. Just wait until Will's mun gets back so I can talk to him and until then, let me finish going over all these files.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH.]

(She's humoring him.)
How are you?

I am adequate. Still feeling uncomfortably aimless, I suppose.

[He huffs a bit, shrugging in a slightly fed up manner. No matter how he acts, he's still a teenager under it all, even if not for long.]
My usual avenues for taking a break are cut off from me, also. I'm starting to think in circles.

My ordinary method of blowing off steam would be slaying something. Opportunities to do so are scare. Morally, at least.

Well, if you insist... [Yeah, he's one of those guys that needs people to insist they want to do something for him.
Because he prefers to do all the things for everyone else.]

[What is his life.]

[But, he does have a light bulb moment.]
And drawers. As many drawers as possible. Desks without drawers are unforgivable.

I am not familiar with such a place.

[This is not your typical 'that's nice dear' he really means it.]
Although I don't know who Swedish is, I think I would enjoy finding out.

[Maybe taking her a little too seriously.]

[This one has to be a joke.
Look at his 'I made a joke' smile.]

He loves fairies, man.]
