Additionally, the canon point you desire to place me at would mean that I am asleep, indefinitely, within the Master Sword. My consciousness would not remain active as Hylia's Chosen Hero has completed his task.

I do not see the point in hoping to receive enough attention as to encourage you to play me in that game. You have just joined with another character. And I do not see what would be so amusing about Ghirahim and I interacting.

As described by my Mundane, you are a "jerk" Ghirahim and I would not enjoy your company. However, it is a curiosity that you are a weapon like myself.

[Right. He should have known that after everything they'd been through. His cheeks redden slightly, and he slides the sword back into its place before rubbing the back of his head.]

[That may be the case, and he's glad that they were able to save the world and all that. Still, it's always hard saying goodbye to a friend, especially one that had been with him through it all.

He gives her a hesitant nod though it's obvious that he doesn't completely buy into the whole fact that they had to part like that with such finality. At least he's getting to talk to her again, and that does brighten his face a little.]

Although, I did say that I hoped we would meet again in another life. Perhaps Hylia decided it could be this same one.

Whatever the case may be, I am glad it is you still. It would have been... sad, if it were a different Master Link.

The Master Sword can only be wielded by the Hero chosen by the Goddess. And I am but the spirit of the sword, the weapon does not actually speak.

[It's things like that that tell Link she's more than just some sort of entity living in the Master Sword. So, his smile widens and he nods in agreement.]

If that was her decision, I'm glad.

[Then he tilts his head as he ponders another question. Once more he draws the Sword, this time inspecting it himself. If she's not in the Sword and still here, that means she doesn't have to sleep, at least in this place.

So they really can speak to each other. There doesn't have to be a 'goodbye'.]
