I'm not too worried though, I can tell you're a decent enough beorc compared to how others've complained. Not to say I don't still find this "roleplay" hobby a bit weird. Why don't you imitate someone like a mighty king or queen, or a legendary founder instead? Weren't those the kind of figures that excited you as a kid? I do, yes! The battles that Lord Ike went through and the Dawn Brigade and everyone whose names I can't always recall are really good to study for tactics! Father spent some time going over them with me, and they're really fascinating!

The hatred had been going on for centuries. The branded are getting along fine too establishing a new nation, I've heard.

Sorry if that got a little on the depressing side! What matters is no matter how bad it gets, things can become better if everyone works for it. We did have a lot of great leaders carrying on the call to arms, too.

[That's...actually really very touching to listen to. Laguz and Beorc and branded...those are terms that Morgan would only have vaguely remembered if not for Tibarn and Reyson. But remembering the taguel's struggles, and remembering the look on Tibarn's face when she had said there weren't any Laguz...

She just tilts her head, smiling at him.]

And you know--as far as the Laguz go, I've heard they might just be elsewhere. I mean, we don't live on Tellius, so that might explain a lot!

But yes... perhaps it's something as simple as us just living further away. It'd be great if that were the case. Those kids would be missing out a lot though, not being able to talk to Beorc! Well, people tend to flock to where the new things are. Just how it goes. My own mun's still in the middle of Awakening, but I guess she's got a special place in her heart for Tellius. Something about us having the best supports in her opinion and all the conversations at the base.

My mun needs to canon review Tellius. She wants to play her second Radiant Dawn run and do all the things the game finally lets you after your first run. [Translation: Recruiting Soren's sorta-brother and the guy who wanted to end the world.] And that burger show? I only know the name because... [sigh] AU headcanons. That's all.

I've been in a few with Soren, but it'd be nice to have you and Mist and Titania along as well.

My mun made a pretty bad mistake during dividing the army, so she ended up watching the rest of Radiant Dawn that came after that, heh. She wants to do it properly next time she gets the chance to, though. Just grumbling about the amount of playtime to get that far again while trying to keep everyone alive and whatnot...

I don't even know what burgers are, but I've been hearing that word around lately, "AU's"... I'm pretty sure my mun made up an alternate me who's some kind of "student council vice president", whatever that means. I wish she didn't poke too much fun at my brushes with death, the circumstances there were getting increasingly silly!

Yeah, my mun actually really loves Miss Titania and wants to bring her along escapades too, but she decided it would be better to do one character first. But now she's eyeing that Tormod kid... she really should make up her mind. [ He chuckles. ] I guess our armies are just a unique bunch (in a good way), if she can't help but be interested in a lot of them.

Ouch. I think that's happened to my mun before. She's...not good at playing on a real Wii. The thing with Awakening is that it's got casual mode. In our games, death is final.

They're some kind of meat sandwich. I mean, I love the idea and all but I can't imagine it. And yeah, AUs love the whole student elections thing. And texting, they can't get enough texting.

Tormod? I wouldn't mind seeing him around somewhere. And yeah, people still have a major soft spot for our games even today. My mun fell in love with almost everyone immediately the first time she played!

Well my mun's recently borrowed that from a friend, but she still chooses classic. I think it just doesn't sit right with her to play Fire Emblem "without frustration". Muns are weird.

Hey, you beorc are the ones who are more creative about your cooking! Maybe we'll even see it invented in your lifetime. Elections... texting... Ahh, there sure are a lot of foreign concepts. I hope mun spares time to teach me about them because I hate being left hanging.

He's a good kid, caring about the laguz and helping them out from the shadier dealings of Begnion. I wouldn't mind having a chat with him either, in this "headspace". It's a shame there wasn't nearly as much time for anyone to chat during the next war, but we can't really do anything about that.
