I don't think you need to worry about anything. You're doing fine already. ...But if you think playing through the game a second time would help you feel more confident in my voice, then please go ahead. I don't mind waiting for you.

My mun agrees that yours is doing great, and she thanks you for thinking that she's doing well. Actually, she admires your mun!

But yes, I definitely believe in her. I know she'll feel confident eventually, so I don't mind supporting her until she's ready.

It's never a bad idea to go back over a game. Mun's actually planning on going back through Apollo's first game to review for a character only in that game. I guess they think we're impatient... but we're really not, hee hee. Your mun can do it!

Oh my, certainly. It takes a lot of practice and studying to become good at something! However long it takes, it'll be worth it in the end.

My mun thanks you for the encouragement though, and I'm sure your mun can do it with whoever they're reviewing as well!

I agree, as does my Mun.

Mun is glad to see another of me though. There had only been one other around here of me when my journal was made. Now many others are popping up and my Mun is happy because now he can make sure I'm being played right in the game I'm in. With so few of us it was rather difficult to see if everything was fine.

Is your Mun planning on apping you anywhere?

My mun is glad to see a lot of our cast here as well... In fact, she was wondering who to take up! Though, she finally decided to go with me since I've been one of her favourites during her playthrough of the game.

My mun did have her eyes on a game that her friends were in, but I'd be the most ill-suited for it. She wouldn't dare put me in such a dangerous environment like that... Though, she has been looking around for more games that pique her interest, so I'm sure she'll send me to one very soon!

...When she's comfortable playing me, that is.

Actually, it was the same here. I was one of Mun's favorites of the new game and that's why I was brought here.

Ah... what kind of game was that? The game I'm in is kind of dangerous... but Apollo's there and Mr. Blackquill's there too. So it's not that bad. [Until you almost get killed by Dracula and learn about magic and stuff only a few days after you learn about time shenanigans and enter a weird secluded place.]

Mm... It was an island life of mutual killing, based on one of my mun's favourite games. ...She didn't want to send me there at first, but... it seems her friends persuaded her otherwise. She's currently finishing up my app as we speak. It's kind of scary knowing Thena and Apollo aren't there, but I'll do my best to manage... After all, at least my mun will be there with people she knows.

But I'm glad that you have Apollo and Mr. Blackquill there. I know they won't let anything happen to you.

Mun says if no Apollo or Thena comes there for a while he might consider reviewing for one of them again. What's the game called? [Apparently the Mun wants to stalk the other Junie's threads.]

Hee hee, yes, they've both been helping me. And I think someone's apping Thena here soon too! Mun's been helping them review for her.

I'm sure mun will be interested later on! It just gives him more time to study both of them. They do have a lot of lines to look over, after all.

Yes, I'm excited that Thena's coming. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find a Robin or Hugh to bring to this game. A friend of my mun's has a journal for Robin but doesn't have time to play in other games right now. So no, neither of them are here.

[She pauses to reach for her sunflower and inhales its scent to calm down. After a while, she straightens up, offering him a grateful smile.]

I-I'm fine, thank you. I tend to have coughing fits when I'm nervous... T-Though, thank you for the concern, sir.

[...did that girl just use sunflower as an inhalator. He does his best not to rise an eyebrow at the act (well, it's not the weirdest thing he has seen) and instead gently places his hand on her shoulder in an attempt to reassure her even more.]

[He keeps smiling as the girl seems to calm down. His former employee's possible love life isn't one of his biggest concerns, but it never hurt to keep on track with things.]

Ah, yes. The Mr. Gavin you're speaking of is my younger brother. I should have probably started by introducing myself, my apologies. [He takes his hand away from her shoulder, offering it for a handshake instead.] Kristoph Gavin, mentor of Apollo Justice.

O-Oh my!

[Now, she hadn't expected to hear that he was Apollo's mentor. For some reason, it makes her feel honoured to have met him. Her surprise fades to another genial expression as she takes his hand, shaking it.]

I-It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Gavin! [Well, addressing the two brothers was going to become a confusing task.] My name is Juniper Woods, and I'm studying to become a judge one day.

So I take it you're also a defense attorney?

Heehee, what was Apollo like as your protégé?

[He laughs softly at her surprise and gives her a good, firm handshake (he doesn't take care of those hands for nothing) before letting go of her hand and crossing his arms across his chest.]

The pleasure is all mine, Miss Woods. It's always nice to meet young talents who will one day grace the field of law.

Yes, Justice studied law under me. He has always been an honest young man and a hard worker, but he was more rough around the edges back when he started. At first he was skittish enough to jump up and yell his greetings whenever I entered the office.

My, thank you! I certainly hope so. You see, I'm wanting to bring an end to the Dark Age of the Law...

[Juniper can barely suppress a giggle as she tries to envision Kristoph's description of Apollo. She can't help but find that cute.]

Heehee, was he? I never would've guessed, considering how confident he seems now... You truly taught him well, Mr. Gavin. When I see him in court, I think he's an amazing person!

[And that's not just because she likes him, either. She's truly grateful to him for everything that he's done for her, and she'll continue to lend her support to him during his trials.]

[Ah, "the Dark Age of the Law"... people sure were making mountains out of molehills with that one. Wright's disbarment had only showed the world what a talentless hack he truly was, nothing else. Anyone losing their trust in the system over something like that was just a fool.]

I could see right away that he had great potential. It was just the matter of building up his confidence and teaching him the basics. I'm glad to hear that my efforts weren't in vain. [Now if only those efforts hadn't played a part in putting him behind the bars...]

Well, I think he was very lucky to have you as his mentor, Mr. Gavin.

[Though, there is one thing she's curious about...]

...I-If I may ask, if you are his mentor, then why is he employed to Mr. Wright?

Some... complicated circumstances forced me to take a break from practicing the law. You could say that Wright is keeping an eye on him for the time being. I'm sure that things will eventually return back to how they were, however.

I... I see.

[Well, it doesn't take her long for her to realise that this is a topic he doesn't wish to talk about. She definitely doesn't want to pry any further than she has, either.]

W-Well, I *cough cough* hope that *cough cough cough* everything goes *cough* well for you, Mr. Gavin...

[She pauses to calm her coughing spell down again before she continues on.]

I'd, um... I'd love to see you in court some day.

It's nothing for a sweet girl like you to fret over. Now, take a deep breath, Miss Woods. [There's a look of concern on his face when her coughing fit returns with a vengeance. However when she mentions how she would love to see him in court he can't help but smile.]

I'm flattered by your kind words. Hopefully my return to the courtroom will be swift so that I can grant your wish. Who knows, perhaps you'll find some similarities between me and Justice if you get to see my performance in court.

[She does listen to him and take a deep breath, soon relaxing again. She then nods, giving him a shy smile.]

H-Hopefully! I look forward to it. It'd be nice to see Apollo's mentor in action... and maybe one day, I'll be the judge presiding over your trial.

My, it would be an honor work with you. Keep on with your studies and I'm sure the chance will come one day. [Even if the day Kristoph Gavin were to somehow return to the courtroom would be a very, very dark day for the law.]

[Well, it's a good thing Juniper's completely oblivious to the truth then.]

Yes, sir! [Though, she can't help but blush at his next words, nodding.] A-Ah, and thank you...

[He laughs, gently patting her shoulder before backing off from her.] You're welcome, dear. Now, off you go. I'm sure you have more important things to do than talk to an old man like me.

Well, I think you're very interesting, Mr. Gavin. Though, I wouldn't want to take any more of your time... I'm sure you have important things to do as well, yes?

[She turns away slightly to head off, but gives one last glance and smile over her shoulder.]

Goodbye, Mr. Gavin! I hope we'll be able to speak again soon...

[And with that and a wave, Juniper walks off.]

Goodbye, Miss Woods. Until we meet again. [He sends her off with a kind smile and a polite handwave of his own. Looking at the girl's back he contemplates their brief encounter. Who knows, maybe knowing a thing or two about a sweet young girl crushing on his former student could prove to be useful in the future.

After all, one could never have enough pawns to play with.]
