/Shaky Mun voicetesting new Muse.
'Mundane'? A fitting name for a mere student like you.
[Someone seems to be forgetting that it was 'mere students' that defeated her in the first place.]
[scoff] They were... different. Now why don't you get back to your coursework and leave me to my business?

Hello. Hopefully your voicetesting's going well. 8D
[It's hard to blame them for it, but as his adapted counterpart would say on an occasion like this--
"Leave it to us." It was their burden now, wasn't it? They didn't have to keep fretting over what she'd do.]
I wouldn't say so, no.
It is, thank you ^^ I may have to find a game for her at this rate.
I'd enable you since we're still in the middle of the Shadow Event but I feel like that'd be unwise.
Still...it's hard for a mun to let someone they're writing for be. [He should know, his is doing plenty of writing of all kinds as it is.]
Ooo, tempting. *eyes coursework* ... hm. Where abouts are you?
As for mine... She just seems to be looking for any excuse to procrastinate on her coursework.
Route and Dragonhaven. The latter's where the Shadow Event's happening. 8D
Mm. That won't change. [Even if it came with some very unpleasant reminders of how he started out.]
Finding any way to procrastinate seems to be common amongst muns nowadays... [And by 'seems to be' he means 'is really', because there's a lot of them around. :|]
Route as in Route 29? The idea of her with a Pokémon is hilarious.
But yeah, her turning up after it's come to a close would be quite entertaining.]
Good. I would be disappointed if you gave up now. [Was that genuine concern? After everything, she did care somewhat about the fate of her chosen ones.]
It does seem that way... Is yours the same?
Yup. I need to get my activity there back to speed, but fourth wall is coming. 8D;
[He blinks at that. Yes, that was most certainly genuine concern. Something in him -- perhaps it was Izanagi, perhaps something else -- knew that she was merely misunderstood, and that she misunderstood herself, given who was supposed to be the 'victor' of her little experiment. Maybe this was proof of that; he didn't know for certain. Gods and goddesses did have a different set of morals, after all.]
As of recently...no? He won't have work until next year, to begin with. [He flinches a little after he finishes. Ow, Izanagi. Ow. Why did you pick now of all times to start with the headaches?]
Nice - I'll definitely have to take a look around.
[[Humans both confused and intrigued Izanami, certainly. There was still a lot she had to learn before she could really say she understood them and their desires. And he was probably the one who confused her most of all of them.]]
I see. Well, if he is anything like my Mundane he will procrastinate even when next year comes around.
[[Noticing that flinch, she raised an eyebrow. It looked as if someone was still harassing him.]]
I'll be waiting. 8'D Also hurray. /o/
Admittedly, he has his moments where his laziness really gets to him.
You evil enabler you :P I like your Souji
Likewise to mine. Although, she manages to get her work done when she needs to... even if sleep gets sacrificed in the process.
[[Just eyeing her passed-out Mun over here.]]
And your Izanami is amazing. I wanna play off her more. 8'D
He could learn a thing or two from her, then. [He's going to need it as soon as he comes back to college in the next year...but he digresses, that's far from the point.] Either way...you seem better now.
[Better might have been stretching it, considering their last meeting ended in truthbomb to her face...]
Oh man, thank you ^///^ I'm glad I can do her justice
'Better' is rather a relative term, don't you think?
... I suppose I am. Even if you did not play your hand as I expected.
Tell me, son of man, are you happy now that you have learnt the truth?
It's a compliment well-deserved. She's not the easiest to handle, given her constant crypticness 8')
He laughs slightly, nervously, at that.] Mm...I suppose it's stretching it a little. [And he...actually shakes his head a little when asked, a little solemn. Happiness, on the road he chose? He wishes that could be possible.]
I wouldn't call it being happy. More...content. This choice I made is only the first of many steps on a road of thorns. It's only going to get worse from here...
...But I have no regrets about making that decision.
Thanks <3 Her voice is a bit of a tricky one to pin down, but I think I'm getting there
Still, he did not lash out at her for how events had come to pass and at least took responsibility for the decisions he made. She respected that.]]
I had wondered if you would come to regret it in time. Even if you had, I do not plan to go back on my word.
As I told you after our battle, you will have to forge your path through those 'thorns' yourself, even if happiness eludes you. The truth is a grail, but that does not make it a kind one.
...You may have defied my expectations, but I do not regret the part I played, either.
You are, and I'm sure a few people I know would agree. :3
They were the eyes that helped him see the truth, after all.
A part of him had this feeling that she wouldn't. It was her experiment, after all, that started him on his road to self-discovery...]
...I'm sure there's very little reason for you to, in the first place.
And I understand that well. Truth tends to go hand in hand with hardship, after all. [And he has to continue through that suffering, see it through to its end, whenever and wherever it may be -- before he can truly say that he's happy with his decision. This is only the beginning, a happy ending that has to be earned.
But with them, he has what it takes.]
I hope so ^^ I must say, I'm still rather liking the idea of her running around catching Pokémon.
Then why is it that you would chose a world like that, where so many would simply choose whatever world - whatever truth - is easiest for them?
[[Whilst she had come to terms with Souji and his group's decision, it was still not a choice Izanami could truly understand.]]
She'd be highly upset about losing her ability to just float around though, I'm sure 8'D
Ignorance was bliss, but in its own way, it was pain at the same time -- because what you don't know really can hurt you, in the end.]
Because spending the days lying to oneself is no way to live... nor is it how I want to see others live.
The truth is painful...but lies can hurt in ways you could never expect.
But of course! She'd have to walk around like a -normal- person. D:
[[Back then she would have asked him what right he had to choose for all of humanity, but he had more than proved himself capable in defeating her.]]
Lies can hurt, but they can also be a kindness.
There are many lies, but there is only one truth. If one is not content with one lie, they simply weave another... but if one does not like the truth, then in the end, all they are left with is that miserable reality.
Yup. Though Fourth Wall does change that every year, it's still an experience, right? |D
[It's a right that he sometimes feels like he's misusing, but...all the same -- he only wishes the best for people.
...Saying that makes him consider, though.]
...Maybe to someone who can't take the truth yet, yes...it is a kindness, in a way. [Somehow, though, they'd know. Deep down, a part of them would realize that someone important to them was gone, that something was amiss. They'd want to know the facts eventually.]
But then...what of the people that can take that reality? [There may not be many such people, but he was certain. There would be more people just like him and his friends, eventually.]
She will abuse the chance to float whenever she gets the chance then :)
I reserved her at Route btw - you evil enabler you.]]
So then it is a choice whether to let those who can accept the truth see it, and leave those who cannot to suffer...
Or to let them have their peace, but leave everyone else blinded by the fog.
Do you believe it is fair to choose one over the other, son of man?
Hehehehehe. Glorious awkwardness for all. 8D
...It's not.
But then...there's nothing that says I had to choose with what was in front of me.
[In the end, there will always be another way. A compromise.]
Indeed. ^^ (Your HTML seems to love you, doesn't it?)
Mm. Perhaps.
Maybe the fog will always be dispelled by the truth, in the end.
It really, *really* does. :|
Mm. Perhaps not for everyone...but it will be lifted.
['People see what they want to see', after all.]
Sorry for slow - coursework ate me D:
I imagine you will make sure of that, where you are able to.
...Tell me, son of man. If humanity wish to fight alone, then what need do they really have for us Gods?
What role do we play in this vision of yours?
Ahhh, it's no problem. I got swept up by stuff, myself. DX
Your role is what you make of it.
If you feel it best to keep watch over us and see where our decisions lead, then that's fine. If you need to test us again...we'll be ready for it.
[They always will be. Him, his friends, and any other Persona Users he'd be made aware of in the near future.]
No worries :)
