Ah, well... it's not like I have any reason to feel animosity toward you for starters. I suppose I always have the option of being indifferent to you, but I prefer wishing for the general well-being of others instead. After all, just because we don't know each other well now doesn't mean we won't in the future. I guess the short answer is: I care about your well-being because I don't dislike you.
