I am uncertain as to w-whether or not I should thank you for bringing me o-over here or not. On one hand, my curiosity to meet others from Candle Cove is wild, b-but on the other...I'm nervous about socializing. I-I know you mean well and you're curious too, but goodness gracious, womanchild... Do you have any idea what the word 'patience' means...? And I swear...If I see the Skin Taker...[She clenches her teeth] It shan't be a pretty sight, I'm sure. [Janice sighs] Please do forgive my rudeness. I'm just not in the most pleasant of moods right now...I believe Papa's calling me down for tea now. Perhaps that'll raise my spirits a bit.

Tea seems to be the cure for everything. Though I can't deny that a good cup often lifts my spirits.

Oh...[Janice stared off curiously] I s-suppose that's true. Thank you....[She glanced down, a bit stuck on what to add to the conversation] So...how...how are you?

Ah, t-that's good then...I'm afraid it m-may take a while for me. [She chuckles nervously] As I said before, f-fairly content.

It's all right -- it comes with time. Although, if you're not averse to a little assistance. . . some kind soul has put up a list of things to help people new to this get adjusted. I'm in one of the "get your feet wet" communities listed -- bakerstreet. It's a good way to explore a variety of different situations. You never know who you might meet.

Ah, thank you very much! That's v-very helpful...My mun's shall d-definitely be looking forward to be placing me in one of them. Here's to hoping it's s-something at least a bit good for me...

I've been working on it. It helps that as my backstory gets clearer, it becomes obvious that I've gained a lot more experience than one might think in standing up for myself.
