If it's preventing you from passing on it's more than enough trouble, I would say. The Council oversee all things, existing as a group more influential than both heaven and hell itself.

I care little for the situation unless they say otherwise, but your friend would be wise to steer clear of their attention. It could end poorly.

I guess so. She's figuring me out as she goes. So far it's not much, just stuff like allergies and my parents' professions and what music I like.

Well, they say that hindsight's always 20/20. I don't think there's any way I could have avoided mine, though I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Like, is it better to believe in inevitability, so that you don't have to worry that there was something you could have done to change things, or is it better to have control of your own destiny?

Judging by my experience so far, I'd say they're pretty different.

Oh. I don't know. I've met plenty of both over the years. Sometimes the undead are much more interesting than the living as they know what it is they've lost and thus are more interested in living it up.
