Yes, it's true. The beard keeps at least half of my potential suitors away. It's my most worthwhile investment.

Have you thought about growing it longer? I imagine it might take a little more upkeep and care, but the extra effort may be worth it if it further cuts down on unwanted attention.

Additionally, if you grow it long enough, it might qualify as an additional weapon in your arsenal.

I don't know...I've heard from the youngsters that that's the "in-thing" these days, being purposefully clashing with one's choice of fashion. I can't say I understand it that much, but then again, what does an old lady like me know?

Still, I'm not budging on this outfit. It's practical. [ And pink is a good color on him. ] I'd compliment you on your sense of fashion as well, but then that might come off as conceited.

Well, I'm given to understand from my mun that there's not much difference between my world and yours in terms of...hmm, what's the word...quantifiable factors. That is to say: our worlds are more-or-less the same, except that I am me in my world and you are you in yours. [She is the best at explaining and this is why she is a teacher.] Heh...I suppose this rather explains Asbel's comment about thinking of me as a man in a woman's body, though.
