Ahh... Oh, I'm not laughing at you! I swear! It's just, ehem, all you can think about is how--[She opens her mouth, about to say "I" when she remembers that there might be Cat Grants running around this place.]-- Supergirl could challenge the Flash to a "friendly race".

I mean, we're not even sure she could run that fast... [She furrows her brow, suddenly deep in thought.] Could she?

[That is definitely something she needs to test out with Hank one of these days.]

[Kara gives a sheepish little smile, shrugging her shoulders. Honestly, she wouldn't know. She still needs to discover that she can as fast as she can fly in canon.]

I don't know? Honestly, the Flash has more experience since that's his power after all. But Supergirl... [Her grin widens.] She can surprise people.

I suppose...she'd have to be prepared to break the sound barrier though, that wouldn't be easy.

[Clueless and nerdy Walter thinks they are just discussing comic book characters. Not often he finds someone, let alone a girl, who's interested in that kind of stuff.] Besides, some bad guy would probably interrupt the race anyway and we'd never find out who won.

Wow. [Her mouth hangs open, nodding solemnly.] The Flash broke the sound barrier. No pressure...

Oh yeah, he did. But, I mean, super sonic jets do that every day. Even a whip crack can produce a mini sonic boom.

[If he knew that, he would lose all ability to speak normally. Despite being a policeman, he was also very much into computers, comic books, and science in general.]

I don't think everything is going to be normal and peaceful just because the Flash is in town either.

Oh, no. I'm not being hyperbolic or anything. During one of my coffee runs for my boss, I did see an officer run into the cafe I'm in and go out with like 3 boxes.

I can't blame them. They are the best donuts in the city.
