still ironing out this muse...
Ehhh, you know... I don't think I'd mind being in one of those "games"! But maybe not one of those scary ones with monsters and horror elements. That's better left to tabletops and roleplaying games, don't you think? But oh! It'd be really nice if I could meet Yugi-kun and the others, but I don't mind making some new friends--
[He falters.] W-wait, what do you mean that since I'm just a part of one big roleplaying community, that means you can put me in a horror game if you want to?! I really don't think I'm cut out for that sort of thing!
[FIGHT OR FLIGHT REFLEXES ARE KICKING IN HERE... Ryou would go for flight, but there's nowhere to run so he just droops.]

[Ryou's eyes catch sight of that skirt.] Er... [He won't judge, Yugi-kun! He won't judge... But he will avert his eyes.]
What if something bad happens. People usually die in horror movies...
no subject
Then you usually prepare for the worst. Make sure that you have all your supplies and weapons together. [And your deck too, that's important.]
My mun says that even if you do die in a horror based game, you usually don't stay dead for long. Not like in a gross zombie undead kind of way, you just come back to life, somehow.

U-un, I mean, that's nice and all... I believe in taking precautions! But uh, do you really think that sounds like fun, Yugi-kun?
[Smiling UNCOMFORTABLY...]
no subject
Yeah, it sounds like a lot of fun, actually.
[But, there was an issue with being called 'Yuugi-kun'. She knows you're polite and all but, she thought that they were closer friends than that.]
Bakura-kun... don't you think it's... more appropriate to call me 'Yuugi-chan' rather than 'Yuugi-kun'? Or just Yuugi is fine too.

Hey, I know, man. It's really not fun. To have to battle hordes of monsters and stuff, but I mean...uh. It could be worse?
[Yeah that's good let's go with that.]
no subject
I know, but... Whatever happened to just being normal and playing games with your friends? That's all I really want.
no subject
Not that he doesn't understand. It's complicated.]
Uh, I wouldn't know. But I get it. It's like, why can't these guys have fun just, ya know, putting us in situations where we play like a video game or, or something? I guess it's not fun enough. For them, I mean.

Not that'd it do much good, but avoid the horror ones if you can.

[Don't mind his annoyance.]
I was in one for almost a year. Not much to brag about.
no subject
A year?! That's a long time... Was it as bad as it sounds? [Judging by the warning...]
no subject
It's what you expect from a horror game.
Only, the one I was in, you didn't have your body. It was just some wire-mock up in the figure of a body. Instead of blood, we had this weird color fluid. Everything in that tower was fake, down to the very structure. There were these people called administrators who pulled all the strings. One was okay, but some were twisted, and sick. [He couldn't call them people. Not after what they pulled.]
It was dangerous to roam at night, that's when monsters liked to roam at times. Some floors had a lot of them.
Often bad things would happen. Sometimes people were mind controlled, sometimes they turned into monsters. You could never tell what would happen next.

I appreciate that, thank you... I guess, I already know it's going to be scary. Maybe I was hoping to hear something else...
[He lets out a sigh.] But that wouldn't help me.

It would be a very polite fight.
"no you can do it" "no you"" no you"
Exactly
Eep sorry, I had a super busy in-game week

Never mind that, my point is, squishy bits are no excuse! ♪

So instead, he'll start off in a casual way:] Well you're not used to being vulnerable like us "squishy" humans, right? Then of course you wouldn't be afraid! You didn't grow up with it.
