Muse boggles at Mun's choice of movie
Why did you watch "Blair Witch"? I told you it was a horrible movie! Nothing but people going 'I'm lost!' and 'You're Lost? Well I'm lost, too!' and wandering in the woods. In the dark. At night. Of course it's going to be spooky at night. It's night. And in the woods? Duh. It's spooky and dark and creaky in the woods at night, where nocturnal animals are creeping about the woods making little noises.
Also. Its portrayal of witches? Sorry, but, mortals these days aren't interesting enough for us to hold curses over them for centuries. Or for us to haunt places like woods out in the middle of nowhere. We've got better things to do with our afterlife than to haunt people. Plus, that people are so convinced that we are haunting them kinda means we don't have to do any work with that.
The only thing that I could agree with it is the assholery of ghosts. Let's face it -- ghosts were once people, and some people are assholes. And when they die, they don't magically become good. Nuh uh. They stay assholes. Sure, some of the ones I meet can change -- but some are just stuck being ghosts until they settle whatever issues they had when they were alive and can finally move on.
Okay. I'm done getting up on my soapbox. Go watch a Mel Brooks' movie or something entertaining.
