Well, I can't speak completely for yours, but the Dark Lord I know would rather pet a kitten without peeling it's face off than concede a single inch of ground to another Dark Lord. They've been set in their dysfunctional little ruts for so long, I don't think there's any way for them to just grow up and get over themselves.
