On mortifying muses in potential writing samples

Good evening! It's nice that it finally feels like autumn! It's nearly time to change out the seasonal items, isn't it?

But, ah, there's something I was wondering. It's--well, that situation you are considering writing about. Is it really necessary to write about when I lost my tooth duelling? It's personal--and it was years ago, anyway. [ ie it was super embarrassing, and it's fairly obvious he doesn't like remembering it. ] I am surprised you think it worth your time.

I really appreciate potentially going somewhere peaceful, but why bother with something so mundane? There's definitely better things to think about, don't you agree?
