...Yes, I know ATP is going on and we've got a test drive meme going on already, but I think you're missing the point that I am currently lacking in Sirius Blacks, Remus Lupins, and even Peter Pettigrews to keep me company in Wonderland! This should be considered an international - no, an interdimensional crisis and we both know it.

Come on now, you can't blame me for trying! Who else is going to laugh with me about how old Snape's gotten? It's ridiculous how poorly he aged! No one else in Wonderland can fully appreciate that like they can. ...Besides, there's a lot to be done, what with everything I've found out about the future and all. I want to stop all that, and they're the brightest people I know - I need them, Mun. Just let me do my sad bit of begging around for my friends, alright? Any time one's turned up in entranceway they've disappeared, and I miss them a lot. There's got to be at least one of them around here whose mun is looking for a game to join, right?

No, it's definitely aging poorly. He's supposed to be in his thirties, and he looks more like he's one hundred and thirty. And even that's being generous.

Tell that to my mun - she's had me stuck over in Wonderland for a couple of years now. Ah, entranceway, more properly. It's supposed to be sort of like some Muggle books, I keep hearing?

[He shrugs. How's he supposed to know?]

Anyhow, it's some magical mansion in the middle of nowhere with all kinds of people from all sorts of places stuck in it. Everyone's trying to get home. There's a couple of Queens who come in various flavors of villainy, and events happen every so often. We've also got Mirrors, but mine's a real tosser with no personality.

To complicate things a bit more though, I've found out a lot about our futures. Things we should be trying to change. Trouble is, everyone supposedly forgets everything from Wonderland once they leave. So, I've been trying to figure out how to keep all those memories. Haven't got a clue what I'm doing though, and I could really use some Sirius help.

[He is exceedingly proud of the terrible pun.]

That's right. Says I'm one of her older muses, whatever that's supposed to mean. But she's had me there a couple years now. Second year anniversary was in June.

[He laughs at that.] Probably. They're sort of like opposites so yours would be...whatever you're not. Maybe something like the rest of your family? It's hard to guess ahead of time.

And well, I've been trying! It's not like I wanted to be here this long. [His smile fades a bit though, at Sirius' comment on their futures.] It's a bit late to go unlearning things now though. And I can't just pretend I never found out, you know? Not if it's something I could do something about.

Perhaps you're right. If they're anything like my family, then they're all mad and crazy. [He grinned.] Is there an Evans in this Wonderland of yours? Then, you'll have someone to pine over, mate.

So, are you looking for company. Is that it?

[James is pretty surprised - he can't say he's ever seen Dumbledore in any of these odd places - but still, he's ultimately pleased. He laughs a little.]

I suppose I haven't. It's good to see you though! How've you been? What brings you around here?

She is! She's older too, by a couple of years. She's from some point in the future where she and I are married, Sirius.

[And it takes him a second to get back to the rest of it - he's too busy grinning from ear to ear. That was obviously the most important piece of information he could ever give Sirius.]

And of course! I feel like I'm cheating all of you by having my own adventure without you lot. Clearly you all need to come be stuck with me.

I was curious about your current predicament. You referred to Wonderland and I can only think of one such place. Have you ever read Alice and Wonderland?

As for how I have been, I cannot complain overly much. It is pleasant to live again.

I've heard a thing or two about it, but I haven't actually sat and read it myself. I've been there a couple years now, so it's hard to not have heard about it at this point. But, I guess you could say I've been preoccupied with some other reading.

He looks a little sad at the last bit though, though he tries not to. He's heard a thing or two about that.]

Well...that's good! I imagine it must be. It's a shame there was ever a point were you weren't living though.

[Somehow, that's the closest he can get to offering his condolences - it's a little hard when Dumbledore is very clearly alive and talking to him.]

I encourage you to read it as soon as possible. It might very well give you some insight. [Though he isn't sure said insight will be helpful. It might actually be frightening.] I have been met with that reaction before. It seems the very idea of me ceasing to live is hard to accept.

[Should he be proud of that fact or saddened by it?]

I do not regret how I died, however, and I imagine few can say that.

My mundane is thinking about doing an application now. He's already placed a reserve for me. Merlin's beard, Prongs. I don't even know what I'm doing! He's deciding for me, the sneak. [He shrugged.]

If there is a Snivelly there, maybe we can annoy him?
