So, this is the place you've been itching to send me? I must say it is different to what I thought it would be. Tell me, what other mad ideas you have inside that head of yours? For I am always up for an adventure. You know me. As long as it doesn't endanger the lives of my friends, family and others. The Order is my life now, as you know. I also have Harry to think of too. James will be cursing me from his grave if he knew I've become the reckless man I once was.

No recklessness, alright? Well, perhaps a little. What's life without a little risk? I always say that, don't I? Perhaps I'm getting a little too safe in my old age. [He laughed softly.] The War is an ever present threat on my mind, so forgive me if I have a few quiet drinks to myself. Ah, I miss James like you wouldn't know. Enough with the sentiments I suppose and on with life.

I'm not sure if the parts 'Sirius' and 'too safe' are really supposed to go together at any given time. [These are dire topics, but she's trying for an amused smile nonetheless.]

You're probably right. [He sighed and leaned back in his chair.] After spending thirteen years in Azkaban, I feel like I want to do something again. I want to be myself again, yet protect those around me at the same time. I suppose that's why the Order is a good place to start. [He found himself staring at the pretty woman in front of him. She looked...familiar.]

Oh? I'm not reserved, I can tell you that. I just want to set a good example to my godson, now that I've got someone to look after. Being imprisoned or dying isn't something I want to choose if I have to. [He smiled slowly and frowned at the other man.]

Have we met before? You look rather familiar.

[There goes that smile of her as she shifts into a more attentive position on the seat across from him, decidedly more sombre now when she pulls her legs up and close to her chest.] After everything you had to endure it is a small miracle that you still stand your ground without breaking apart, Sirius.

Are you confident that this is he right time to throw yourself right back into action? [There's no trace of judgement in her voice, just mild curiosity as she seeks to follow his thoughts. She's not about to divert the attention to her identity just yet, as tempting as it may be.]

I know. Yet, I will myself to carry on the fight because I have to. People need me to stay alive, yet somehow, danger seems to enjoy following me. [He let a slow smile spread over his lips.]

I'm always up for action. Nothing can stop me now. [He was confident on that one.]
