Regarding tentative plans

Maybe a better question is, how are you going to balance both?

No, not really, unless you count the fact that it usually tries to kill or hurt my friends, and I'm not okay with that.

Now that sounds like quite the adventure.

I guess it could be, but I'm not really sure what to expect, either.

Isn't that supposed to be all part of the fun? It isn't really an adventure if you know what to expect now.

I just want to finish high school and find a good college; going off to Wonderland, and now Asgard, was never really on my list of things to do.

[mirabilis]

Ah, but now you can say that you've done those things as well. Wouldn't that make a good story to tell?

I'm stuck in a city straight out of a horror movie. Be thankful you're somewhere that isn't actively trying to kill you.

Wonderland would never do such a thing! [She should know, she made it.] And of course you aren't alright with the notion of your friends being hurt or otherwise, no one should like seeing people hurt or killed.

[That earns him a somewhat sympathetic look.]

I've been killed once already, and some people have been killed more than that.

[Don't ask, Jesse. It's complicated.]

You'd think Wonderland would be, well, wonderful, but the fact is, it's not. Not all the time.

And before you say anything, I know things aren't going to be great all the time.

I guess, but my point is, I never asked for any of this. The only story I really want to tell is how I became a great performer and artist.

I know what Wonderland is like, sir.

[There's a pause. Clearly Jesse St. James wanted to win the pity party.]

How can you already have died? You're pretty obviously alive. Is this one of those 'clap your hands if you want so and so to live' sort of things?

[Hey, he can still win. It's not something Blaine wants, anyway.]

Yeah, I'm alive, but that's just because Wonderland is weird and gives everyone five lives. I have four left, thanks to some Hellhounds.

[As in, Hellhounds straight out of Supernatural.]

[Jesse pauses, tries to find a way to connect Hellhounds to a musical theater reference, fails, then continues on.]

Wonderland and Hellhounds aren't exactly two things that go well together.

You wouldn't think so, but the place I'm in makes events based on our memories and experiences.

Who remembered Hellhounds?

The demon Meg from Supernatural?

I don't know that show-though, I'm pretty sure I can take a guess at what it's about.

[because let's face it, Vocal Adrenaline probably doesn't give you enough time to catch up on pop culture.]

Yeah, it's not that hard to get it: demons, demon hunters, demonic dogs, that kind of stuff.

[And he hates how he can just rattle that off so casually like it's common knowledge to him.]

Does anyone? [ She doesn't smile at that, in fact she sounds a little less cheerful. But it doesn't last long ]

Besides, every artist has to have a great story, it's where you draw your influence. Isn't that some sort of rule?

We've got memory-sucking spiders. [said with a small shrug and a 'geez I hate my life' sort of frown.]

That doesn't sound pleasant. Not at all.

To be blunt, it sucks.

[justlove]

Yeah, I'm sure it does. Sorry about that.

Yeah, a great story helps, but I don't know if I want this to be part of mine.

You know what the worst thing is? I can't find a piano anywhere. How am I gonna keep practicing if I can't find a piano?

What else are you going to have in it instead? Some other adventure?
