halftheman: (Remembering The Burn)

Barge plotting is making for some antsy players... less antsy muses.

You need to calm down. You know what you were told; there'd be an opportunity. Soon. No more, no less.

I don't see why you think it's so important that the coin come up good; soon as it comes down bad again, the barge will forget anything I might do 'right' and remember only what I've done 'wrong'.  And I've done plenty wrong: Cassel Sharpe ring any bells? One good deed, one sacrifice, one-- anything, isn't going to change any minds after putting a seventeen year old con in traction. Doesn't matter that they have fancy magics to get him back on his feet within a day; we still nearly beat him to death. That's what they're going to remember, especially when a bad flip can make them remember just what we're capable of.  The barge is fickle that way.

So cool it; bide your time and wait. You know better than I do what's coming next month... So waiting a couple more days for this month's clusterfuck won't hurt you.
