On mun's game hunting and Captain America
[Octavio appears a touch run down despite his valiant efforts to look composed. He's tired, and it shows. For him, it's just after midnight and he just got done having the crap beaten out of him. So when he speaks, his tone is a bit exasperated, if reserved.]
Minha senhora,
I understand that your favorite of all superheroes is Captain America. And if he existed in my universe, I'm sure that he would be one of mine. He sounds like an upstanding man. But you can't base where you're going to send me entirely based on where he is. Capitão Rogers doesn't need your fangirling over him, with all due respect. And unlike him, I live in a country with very few superheroes.
In fact, I've yet to find one single other. I'm not able to cover all of Angola, but I have to try. I don't have time for a meeting with your idol, and I really don't have time to go to a game. My people need me. Even if they don't particularly feel thrilled to have me, I'm unfortunately all they've got. There's no telling what kind of things would go on if I vanished. Luanda has enough crime now that I'm not getting to as it is. So if you don't mind, I need to bandage up my ribs and get back to it.
There's not a lot of protection for the little guys out here, you know?
