Hey. Hey, muuuun. Let's play in a gaaaame.

See, I can do that annoying human thing, too. Now, as for my demands, they're quite simple. I simply wish to be placed in one of these games. A nice vacation, really, from always fighting dear Wisteria. She's become quite a hassle with her brainless army, you know, and poor me without a soul weapon at this moment! No, no, it won't do at all!

[He laughs giddly before idly looking at his claws.]

Come on, come on! Let's see what kind of corruptions lie in these places. I want to see, I want to see!

Corruptions?

[From context he'd guess some sort of creature, but on the other hand...]

[Oh.] What kind of corruption? [The Commander is sure he's heard one or two people say chimeras are corruptions of nature, and then there are the Pigmasks, who joke about something to do with corrupting people and then laugh awkwardly when they notice him listening and tell him they won't explain until he's older.]

...
I have no need to forge a weapon. I already have all the equipment I require. [Welcome to the ballad of 'without context he'll take nearly everything you say literally,' try not to let it dishearten you. He can at least catch, say, sarcasm some of the time.]

"Corruption"? What're you talking about?

[Aw man, if there are Witches in Dear Mun, she's gonna pitch such a fit...]

[Well. That's new. Sounds like a PSI ability, but not at all like any manifestation of PSI he's ever heard of. Somebody being able to shape PSI into a weapon, maybe, that'd make sense, but from other people...]

What happens if it breaks?

...why would they feel empty? [He's not entirely certain on the definition of a soul, either. He's got the words, but they don't mean anything to him. Some people think it's the source of PSI, but then they also say everyone has one, and not everyone has PSI.]

Wha- wha- what?! [Just gonna... clutch that ring on a chain around her neck protectively now, 'k?] Geez. Kyubey never mentioned "deities" of this kind of stuff.

Oh. -Uh, er, he's nothing important! Just- ignore me, I'm babbling, it happens sometimes. [Go go random subject change!] So! Uh... "deity", huh? Is that a, er, fun job, or...?

[ - right, then. He was considering asking Mr Deity to pull out his soul to show him, he was curious about how it'd work, but now it sounds like far too much of a risk.]
Who gives permission? [Sure, people can die on their own, but...] Someone biological has far more failsafes to keep from dying on their own than a weapon has to keep from breaking. Why would they risk it? [There has to be quite some incentive.]

...
I don't understand. How can you take me out of... me?
psimera: (07)

[personal profile] psimera 2013-08-02 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
That still isn't logical. I'm me. I... suppose you could take brain patterns, but then there wouldn't be anything left to feel empty. Or it'd be a copy and there would be no reason to feel empty.

...
You can tell whether it will break before taking it out? [Otherwise it still sounds like too much of a risk, one he can't understand most people taking.]

[A part makes slightly more sense. He can accept that explanation, even if he's still unsure what a soul would be. A measure of uniqueness, maybe? That's what it sounds like. Though...] A soul is only a human part, or do other biological organisms or chimeras also have it?

...
What do you sense from me? [Not that he expects much if the other says chimeras don't have a soul.]
