Alright, I know that guy already got to you but... You know me.

I know that we have things in common, and I can tell you; it's hard doing what you're trying to do. Doing the jobs that nobody wants to do. I felt that pang too, when you resigned yourself to being the 'bad guy' in order to make some kind of positive change. Sometimes, hard choices have to be made, right? That's what it is. Nobody wants to cut out the bad parts 'cause it'll hurt.

But if somebody doesn't, the rot'll spread to all of the other parts too, right?

So do it. Even if you have to carry it alone. Even if it's too heavy for you. That's what I think, anyway.

You give this advice, and yet I've told you time and time again that it's not good advice. For him, or for you. No man should ever have to bear a burden alone.

IF you have something that's too heavy, can't your friends help carry it?

You're not alone! You've got me, Repede, Estelle, Rita, Judy, even Raven! Your mun's not alone either! There's gotta be people supporting them too, even if you don't see it at first.

So stop moping around, get off your butt, and do what you gotta do! No moping in Brave Vesperia!

Woah, woah-- [Yuri holds up his hands, face apologetic.] I know. Don't worry. I do know that you guys are there for me. It's just...some things a man's got to handle on his own.

[Awkwardly, he runs his hand back through his hair, fingers tugging at a snag.]

You don't have to worry about anything, okay Cap'n Karol?

[He brandishes his hammer a bit.]

Even if you have to do something yourself, we're still there. That's part of why I started Brave Vesperia. None of this "a man's got to handle on his own" crap.

[He lets the hammer fall to the ground.]

Just don't let me catch you talking about being alone again, got it?

[That makes Yuri smile. He chuckles and gives a nod.]

Hey...I'm sorry you've got to deal with a stubborn guy like me, Karol.

[A good guild-master does not tackle-hug his members. Keep telling yourself that, Karol.]

I wouldn't have it any other way, Yuri.

[Yuri smirks.]

Well, I guess you gotta have some sort of consistency, right? Even if it is just me being difficult.

Yeah. Make my job too easy and I might get bored and give you actual work to do.

[Feigning horror, he gasps loudly.]

Considering how much trouble Repede goes to in order to get you to feed him of a morning? It wasn't hard to figure out.

[Still, he kind of misses when Repede wakes everyone up by poking Yuri in the backside with a dagger to get food. Best way to wake up ever.]

[Pouting, he crosses his arms.]

Repede's grumpy when he's hungry and-- hey, I don't want to go making things too easy for anybody.

I'm certain that your mundane is not alone, just like you never were, Yuri.

[She has a smile of certainty on her face.]

[Oh man, all of this friend business makes it so hard to be self-loathing and martyr...ey.]

Yeah... I know that. My mundane does, too. Man... old habits die hard, I guess.

[At least Estelle will make it hard.]

I suppose they do, just as we'll always be here for you no matter what.

[He smiles at her.]

I know, I know. I'm stubborn and set in my ways. I'm working on the "feeling sharing" thing, I promise.

[she giggles]

I understand that it's difficult for you, but I at least promise to never judge you for expressing what you're feeling.
