Yes, they might be responsible for keeping us imprisoned and harbringers of misery.
But I am, so far, enjoying my conversation with Alice, just as I enjoyed my conversation with the Cheshire Cat. I see nothing wrong with this, especially as a fan of the book, if we're "bonding". Especially since Alice is one of the only people who understands my..."condition", and the Cheshire Cat has a wonderful head for riddles. It does not at all imply any hesitation to leave on my part. It's hardly a betrayal of the others.
Besides, it's not as though I can do anything about them, or the disasters they herald. I'd rather direct my attentions elsewhere than being pointlessly antagonistic.
